Have been on and off the Houli band wagon over the years. Did some hard things I did not expect to see him do on Saturday. The only blemish to his game was missing the set shots at goal.

Could quiet easily have won the Norm Smith and the majority of supporters would have said fair enough

I'm with you Lamby. He was absolutely superb in the GF; I gave him 3 votes. Silenced all of his critics including me especially. I've never seen him attack the ball and put it all on the line like that. Just a fantastic game.

The next step for him is to nail the set shots. For someone who has a beautiful kicking technique he is a pretty poor set shot at goal.

Must admit he worried me the most at the start of the GF.
He looked really nervy in the first couple of minutes. Worst thing to happen to you in a big game.

Then Dusty got the ball to him and he kicked that great goal in the first.
As soon as he got that I relaxed a bit.
He went on and had a blinder from there.

So im hoping now that the Houli / Grigg bashing will finally come to an end

These boys played their guts out during the final series to win the Richmond Football Club a premiership and are now Life Members

It may, and don't forget Edwards in that, the bashers will just move onto someone else.

Houli's run and chase and run and run and tap and run and chase along the boundary which resulted in a goal was pretty special.

(Can't believe the Houli thread hasn't been used since October last year)

Agreed.
Poor Bash hardly gets a mention these days.
Milestone game today as well. 150 games for Richmond. Surely that deserves an honourable mention.

Yep. Just disappointed with some of his bad kicking to goal this season.

The previous page where the first post from today is, starts two days after the Grand Final !!!
Signs that you're going alright and flying under the radar a bit.
The piece of play noted was five knock-ons and a hand-pass I think.

Been a fan of the Bash since we got him, not the most physical grunt player over the years but he has a massive work rate often unrewarded. Had another good game today, plenty of second n third efforts.

150 games for the Tigers is great for Bash given that he came from a terrible upbringing at a ghetto club full of syringes and ice pipes.

That's because the Houli basha's on this Forum ,(of which there have been many), are too busy wallowing in Bacha's outstanding form and sucking on eggs.

his goal was a beauty. gave the handball to Kmac then ran the length to receive from Butler and kick it. nice.
