Re: Bachar "Back in Black & Yellow" Houli
We've managed fine because we're a good side this year. It doesn't mean we're not an improved side by having him back in (which thankfully the Richmond heirarchy agree with). So if Cotchin was out of the side and we performed fine without him, does that mean we shouldn't bring him back in because as a side we did fine? Yes I believe Houli is integral to our backline and provides the run needed that makes the side less predictable and opens up options. Yes you get caught out on the rebound sometimes but it's all about whether the benefits outweigh the negatives and in my opinion from my view of games supported by stats is that he provides plenty more opportunities moving the ball forward when he is in the side than when he isn't. We have tried other backmen to produce that role, C Ellis, Markov, Menadue, and it just hasn't worked to the same efficiency that Houli provides. I would take Houli over Broad any day of the week.

If anything it only strengthen my argument that he isn't "integral" to our backline!
