Bachar Houli - بشار حولي,

Hard to knock a guy when Power kicks 2 or 3 of his goals as opportunistic snaps around the corner. If he had been lagging behind marks on the lead I could understand.

He got all three goals because he slipped clear of his opponent. Gotta mark clever players like that very tightly.

Beautiful kick... Smooth as silk. Excellent handballer too, always puts the ball into space for a running teammate.

Tackles are a bit average on occassion, but he spoils and bodies up well when marking.

Looking great so far :)

Played quite well again tonight. However, was he on Power in the 3rd quarter? Whoever it was Power cut them to shreds; need to be a lot tighter on players like that.

No, it was Batchelor who got cut up by Power. Houli went onto him late in the 3rd and shut him down and then won his own ball in the last. It was a very impressive game from Houli. Great addition to the best 22.

Hadn't seen this guy before he came to Richmond. Good skills and getting better in contested situations. Thought Batchelor was on Power for at least a couple of goals?

Backn up blood for this one, houli went to power n took him out of the game. Batch got taught a lesson

His clear thinking and kicking were impressive.

In hindsight, perhaps picking him up was a free kick, because if he hadn't already signed, Hird would surely have convinced him to stay.

Fair enough but Houli was on him for at least one of them. Just saw the replay.

i reckon he might have got a rocket for a couple of softish efforts early this season because was very hard and more committed tonight than ive ever seen him.

his kicking and decision making are just beautiful and knows how to get the footy

Yep, He aint soft....

He reminds me of nathan eagleton. Not convinced he is the one to step during a big game but can't fault him on his output so far

Yep that's what I thought. Batchelor shown a bit of a lesson by Power but a great learning experience.

Really liking Houli's work. Was so-so first few rounds so I held back judgement but he is now starting to come into his own.

I noticed that, there was a contested ball situation last night where he stuck his head over it and grabbed it, earlier this year he would have tapped it on.

He's always going to be a bit soft but he has to go when it's his turn

Well played Bachar. Well played. Showing why he was recruited. Added a heap to our team.

He was never going to be Voss type, but he is doing what he is instructed to do, is to finish off plays, with his elite left foot.
His ok and he did play really well last night.
