Frigggin amazing. Has been in our Top 5 players every game this yet the same ole detractors come out trying point out fault where ever possible.

If his name was Barry Howard he wouldn't cop half the sh!t he's getting better this year.

Yep top five players in a side that stinks it up every week. Woohoo. Give the man a medal.

The same bloke that when the pressure is turned up goes to water time and time again.

And you seriously think the criticism of him is due to his race and religious beliefs?

Wow. There has been an awful amount of *smile* on this forum but that takes the cake.

Unbelievable

Bit disappointing today. Laid an ineffective tackle after electing to dwell on his opponent, more than once.

Handy player generally but no leader. Needs others to set the tone.

I've given Houli 3 votes in 2 out of our first 5 games this year.

The club has much bigger problems than this player.

Agreed.

Hope he pulls up fine for our next mission. I feared the worse when he went off with what looked like a musculoskeletal injury to the left shoulder/arm. Fingers crossed.

Wasn't his best game today but some gutsy acts late in the last quarter redeemed his day.

I'm not a fan but he did some very good things physically in the last quarter, well done Bachar.

Put his body on the line in the last. A body that took are hard hit in the third and needed injections to make through the end of that match.

And some still call him soft....

I've questioned his propensity to go to ground when under the pump but he was very good in contested situations in the last quarter. His spoiling was well timed as was his tackling and physical pressure.

No doubt he has been a head ducker in the past, but has been good going back into packs this year.

he can be soft, and he can go in hard.

He missed a couple of games two years ago, were they also with a shoulder? Another one who stood up yesterday.
