Bachar Houli - بشار حولي,

Classic downhill skier.

Turn up the pressure and he melts. Wont play in a premiership so *smile* him off. He is representative of what this *smile* of a club is all about.

Makes the same mistakes time & time again. Today I saw fumbles, poor kicking and lack of desire to tackle!

I would be happy if he didn't get another game for us but unfortunately there is nobody better to force him out of the side.

Exactly.

Disagree, they were ordinary today but I'd play either of Mcdonagh or Lennon in his role. They have more hurt factor by foot.

Drummond is a very keen kid with good size and he'd give you great run and speed down there although his kicking is just OK.

You could brings Knights in forward and chuck Deledio back.

Heaps of options

Wasn't as bad as you're making out. Certainly not as good as last week but an important cog to the Tiger's side.
Really? He was real poor today, one of his poorer games for the club I reckon. I'm a fan of him though as he provides much needed run, but today definitely wasn't his day.

Does not take possession first time in critical situations. As a defender you can't stop every goal but gifting your opponent one through a fumble or poor kick is unforgivable.

I tend to agree, but that was most of the side today

He is a fumbler and when you really really need him to hit a target he inevitable misses.

Does not like pressure at all.

It's this thinking by the selection committee (who obviously know more than me) that worries me a deal.
Reckon Houli's best days are past him and that he will become a growing liability.

Needs to reduce the difference between the best and his worst (like the team). However it would help if we didn't rely on just one player for run and rebound off half back.

People are quick to stick the boots into Houli. However he is the only player who runs off half back to create a forward attack. He has no support. We have no one else.

He doesn't like pressure.
Close checking and he poos himself.

Another player who likes the easy games but goes missing in the big ones

"Deer in the headlights" game from him today.

Not up to it. When the heat is on you can guarantee a limp wristed effort from this guy.

Agree with this. Houli is another that needs to be replaced if we are to win a premiership.

The Tigers may not have anyone else to replace Houli and perform his role, which says a lot about the depth of the list. But that said, it also doesn't mean that Houli is something special anymore. His impact on games, and therefore his benefit to the team, is diminishing rapidly.

Rance runs it forward, so does Grimes to an extent. The biggest problem with Houli is when he's manned up on.
He can't shake off his opponent plus his tackling skills are not good. When he's manned up even slightly the
pressure on him becomes too much and he goes to pieces.

The Bulldogs showed how to deal with Houli and Griggs today, simple man up on them and they will wilt under
the pressure, going missing in action or if they get the ball make awlful errors.

Every other AFL coach will have seen our performance today and you can bet they will be looking to do exactly
the same to us as the doggies did to us.

Me, I'd ideally drop both Houli and Griggs back to VFL. McIntosh seems to be a pretty good option as a "link up"
player plus he's got pace, goes hard at the ball, will tackle and makes good decisions.

Time to get tough on these players will faults, either you improve or you're dropped. Youth must be our priority
and if that means players like Houli get dropped so be it.

Won't happen though *smile* hasn't got the guts to do it.
