Early blunders, then did very well after the result was decided. Not yet prepared to label him a finals player.

Going on yesterdays performance I'm not sure we can label any of our players finals players.

Just watched the replay of the last 1/4 , in the dying seconds of the match Griffiths ignored Bachar's call for the ball and roosted the ball through the sticks for a goal. You can see Bachar watch the ball going through for a goal and then turning to Griffiths and remonstrating with him for not giving the ball to him.

??? ??? ???

Deledio ignored him in the 3rd as well. Could have given him the handball but instead took the shot himself.

Would have put Houli onto his wrong side, so good call from Lids.

Deledio went bananas at Houli in the last quarter after Wingard took a hanger over him. Maybe for not being able to keep up? Houli was nowhere near the contest at the time.

Lids should have got a free in that contest, the front on shot showed both his arms being held by Neade!

Same in my house. I remember my father being filthy over the loss in '75.

I was in my very early teens in 1972 and I remember being filthy with that GF loss to grand final. The Tigers were the best team all season and should have won the flag that year, but as we know ... the best laid plans of mice and men.

And as far as I am concerned, the jury remains out on whether Houli has the mettle to be a good big game and finals player. Has some attributes yet I remain unconvinced as to whether he can handle the big occasion with sufficient aplomb and wherewithal.

Unfortunately we have a team full of players who look very good for periods of the home and away season, yet have stunk it up in the finals.

Serious question marks over a lot of players and their ability to handle the pressure when it is stepped up a notch.

Was ok but I wasn't altogether impressed with Bach's game on the big stage. Another who's put on the table to see if there's any interest.
Think our running defenders need to be upgraded.

This irks me about the game in general. There is absolutely NO excuse for an AFL footballer not to be able to kick on his opposite foot. You don't have to be as skilled as Akermanis off both, but they are highly paid professionals and the fact that one footed players are tolerated by coaches at any club is a disgrace. Imagine if a soccer player could only kick off one foot? Would't even get an interview, let alone a game.

Well he held onto one as Conca shot passed him to give a good option at speed. Houli then fouled up the possie and it shot back the other way. Can't remember which quarter but it pissed me off at the time. Glass houses Bachar.

Can anyone please tell me why he gets a game.
I watch him week in and week out and I see him panic, make poor decisions and cough it up.
I know it is easy to criticise behind my laptop but I think he is the worst performing player at the RFC.
Go Tiges 2015

As far as I am concerned, the jury is in.
If a player keeps serving up the same stuff time after time, why expect anything different?

Eh no he's not.
Bachar's had a pretty decent season overall.
Agreed, ToO. Had a few bad games, so did a lot of players, but he earned his spot more than others, and he was one of the few that put in 4 quarters against Port.

I think Bachar's a good player, but I don't want to see him in a final again.

He's made a few critical errors in each of our last two finals. He had a horrible turnover that started the blues comeback, and that bounce fumble in the port game closed a door that was already slamming.

He goes to water under pressure. That doesn't mean he's soft, or any emotive nonsense like that. He's incredibly courageous in the air, doesn't ever shirk a contest and puts his body on the line. But his disposal under pressure is woeful. He can be damaging if given space to run into, but that rarely happens in finals.

I'd play him while there's no replacement, but I don't want to see him in a final again.
