Bachar Houli - بشار حولي,

Being at the game I didn't see as much as you fellas did in terms of run and carry, but did notice he got sold into trouble a few times with hospital passes and handballs. However he didn't flinch at any of these contacts.

I thought he was very sure handed and doesn't often fumble even when under pressure.
Having him, Rancey, Grimes (who had his best game), Ellis running off half back makes a big difference.

Doubt Swans will give us same space but good that we have running options.

I hope we just go out and get on the front foot.

That is just staggering, and FWIW I was at the game too. You must have been in the bar the whole game.

If he was in the bar the whole game - he probably was staggering!

Looms as a key player tomorrow.

Hope he doesn't get drawn deep into D50 for his possessions. Needs to be getting on his bike off half back like he did last week.

If he does that, our forward entries are deep and dangerous.

Been in cracking form.
However the whole back 6 who were so impressive last week against the bottom team will have a lot less space against the top side.
Swannies force turnovers better than anyone. Decision making and disposal under pressure will be paramount.

yeah, been great. I hope I'm not one to go off half-cocked on bagging players, but I wanted him sacked in the first half of the season. He was shirking contests left, right and centre. To me Bachar is emblematic of our dramatic turnaround, scared and tentative in the first half of of 2014, brave and purposeful in the second. Been a real Jekyll and Hyde transformation

No, he wasn't shirking contests. Rarely does, if ever.

Yea the game against Carlton and Geelong he did some incredibly hard stuff. It wasnt shirking it was the dropped marks and poor kicks that really made a difference.

He is great mates with Ivan. They seem to play better when together in the team.

houli isn't a hard man, and doesn't look for a contest, but goes when its his turn i reckon - IMO he has been v good

Bachar certainly didn't disgrace the Tigers today like many of his teammates. Yes he made a couple of blues like dropping the ball running through the square but overall he got stuck in and never stopped running and trying. He tried and tried hard unlike many other so-called elite players.

Though he was poor early when the game was lost. Fumbled and hesitant.
Worked his way into the game once the heat went out of it to end up being ok which was a lot better than many.

Fumbled early & cost a goal. However kept trying to run & create. We really need two half backs that can do that & we only have one.

Morris' skills aren't good enough to do it & Batchelor is too slow. This issue must be addressed.

One of our better players and provided a lot of run. There are many times though where he handballs to a teammate and then runs on as an option again rather than shepherd out the opposition player to give his team mate time. Big weakness in that part of decision making.
