True but for me he is still a bit too inconsistent at times. At his best he is very good then he goes missing far too often

Struggles with close checking or pressure situations.
Not a finals player, lucky for him we're not a finals team

Bloody ridiculous, Bash may not be very good with the high incoming but he's gotten in the hole n stood under more than his share.

Avoiding the contests in the conditions was actually the intelligent thing to do last night and wait for the ball to fumble out.

Our game has changed, he's not running loose anywhere near as often and is involved in more contests. Showing a lot of nerves. Don't think he's playing his best footy but is making a contribution.

Happy with Houli's performance over the last two months. Houli has a lot of pressure on him to create as Newman, Batch, Morris and Grimes all fail to do this.

Agree with this. Not his best form but he's competing hard, showing a bit of dash and delivering nicely. He was a bit unlucky on some 50/50 balls last night. Is getting up and competing for marks overhead, doesn't hold many but he is bringing it to ground.

I watched the replay to check on Houli. I didn't see him duck out of a contest quite the reverse. There were times he stood off but it became obvious when the ball was so slippery he waited for the fumble.

He got in my votes this week. His form turnaround had been a big part of our surge.

Jono Brown like today chasing that ball with the flight and never taking his eyes off it. Solid hit too but got straight back up.

Shades of the old Houli running amok through the middle today. Just about his best game for the year.

I would say definitely best game of the year. Not sure he will get that much space next week though ;D

Is just pulling the trigger and running at every opportunity.

Credit to both him and cohesive back six.
