Andrew 'Mini' McQualter

Nah. They use him as canon fodder and for incredulity and discussion - like we’re having right now. Dumbness = ratings on tv now.
Yeah, I suppose we could do with a laugh, although his many sickies must be a concern for the station.

You were right Red. Blobbo asked the obvious Marvel question. But Mini handles it very well. It wasn’t the ground but our inability to handle the heat.
That answer to the journo mentioning Dimma was comical but I reckon 100% spot on. It was Dimma's personal hate for the Dump and not the players, and he must've fed them with anxiety affecting the way they played.

What did Scott say?
Can't remember clearly but Blobbo wanted Scott to clarify why he keeps switching his comments about the current performance of his team and the future of his team....or something like that. Then a minute silence in between all 4 at the desk and instead of Wimpy breaking the ice, Blobbo upped the ante with Scott asking to explain again.

Really liked Mini’s steely look at the journos in the presser after he was asked about “resting” Dusty.

This guy has some *smile* in him, no doubt

Can we have an intern coach to replace McQualter??
He is bad
When we get beaten we get smashed. At least Hardwick kept the slappings to once ir twice a year.
I’d support interim coach Mini to stand down last 3 games and be replaced by a panel of “experts” from PRE to coach the team till the successful applicant is chosen to coach us in 2024

I would have them at least play for the jumper

Same here - it was quiet eye opening
Stand up bloke

When asked what led him to believe the woman had been raped, McQualter told the court: “I think the fact she said she was asleep and she woke up to him f---ing the *smile* out her."

McQualter said that he then went upstairs and confronted Lovett and asked him, “What the f--- have you done?”

McQualter said he shouted at Lovett and told him to “f--- off, we don't want you, f--- off, get out of here”.

Insane that the club hasn't tried this before, how could it not work

I propose we install a caretaker caretaker to protect the incumbent from the last three results.

Teague? Rutten?

I can imagine, we get Carter, Antman and Dyer for example...
There'd be a near punch on at selection when someone wants to send Nank to the reserves, but the pre-game and quarter time addresses would be equally inspiring, amusing and confusing to the list.

I'd invite Nank to "observe" the the match committee deliberations - he'd be first picked every week

I understand the club wanting to promote from within for stabilities sake and maybe a bit for the sake of the soft cap, but it should never be done at the expense of appointing a better candidate.

I'm not saying that is what we have done with any of our appointments just pointing out that stability for stabilities sake is just as bad as appointing the wrong candidate from outside the club.
It’s no doubt what we’ve done due to footy ops caps and having the most expensive coach. We couldn’t afford the best candidates. This is one blessing for next year.
