Agree. Interesting comment on Pickett: "He was OK for a mental point of view, but whether he played a great game or not, he had some mates with him".Not sure there was anything he could do. Move the under-performing players around? Unlikely to make a difference.

Have we debuted anyone this year? Not fussed if Mini gets the gig or not , one bad performance shouldn’t make the decision final, he’s got another 2 months , in saying that there’s potentially plenty of great candidates.
What I do want to see is Ryan, Cumberland, Clarke continue to play , Graham to go back into the middle , Banks to get senior footy on the wing . Miller and Ross to go back to the VFL , ive seen enough , both not up to it imho . Bradke, Bauer I don’t really care , let’s have a look at another kid up forward .
Forgetting the Pickett saga, how long since he’s played a decent AFL game in any position.
I think will bounce back at the G next week , love to see Banks and Brown debut
I didn’t notice any ground breaking magnet moves tonight
I get where you are coming from , but sometimes you have to take the risk , one of the main concerns when we got HardwickMy personal opinion is if you’ve never coached a team outright (AFL/State League) you should never be even considered. Being an Assistant is nothing to being the main man and dealing with the issues that arise. And I don’t count caretaker coach in that category.
Correct. No coach in the world was changing last night's result. Not sure there was anything he could do. Move the under-performing players around? Unlikely to make a difference.

I doubt a Chris Salt coached side would’ve copped an 80 point loss.Correct. No coach in the world was changing last night's result.
Very good first up interview. Owned the coaches box tonight. The move of Vlastuin was genius like.
