Where art thou, allybabe?
The way Rance and Batchelor are going, you won't see her for a while. If Griffiths comes in and plays well we might never see her again.

fantastic game, best game for us so far.

perspective tho, he is still young and inexperienced, hopefully he can back it up next week

interesting concept perspective...young and inexperienced will cause inconsistenacy ;D

Impressed with his game also... He's got a good athletic body. Good height.. Good speed.. Prepared to run with it... Is sometimes very composed under pressure... On his day, goes verrrrry hard at the football (courageous)... Think he's got to pin this game up as what he should aim to get out of himself every week...

Our backline was good tonight... Did what they needed to do to win the game.. Which was go 20% harder than usual....

:clap

Let's demolish Port next week and go into our bye with an over 50% of wins from games..!

Definitely best game for the club. Well done Alex.

Agree. Brave and very quick in getting back to his feet from the ground. Cat like. And then rebounds hard to be part of the build up.

Improving every week.

Except for the doggies. ;D

Has a great attack on the footy. Thought he was a bit lucky to get away with couple of blantant holding decisions but can't fault the endevour and attitude to take the game on.

averaging 20 disposals a game at 85% efficiency and never been interchanged. 100% TOG

people see what they want to see. alex has been great all season and will only get better.

would love to know his score involvements and metres gained if anyone has that info

Loving his work. His attack on the ball has always been great, he just hasn't had the body to compete until now.

He wasn't on his own last week. He's had a great year.

Coming from WA, I know his pedigree. His old man was household name, and Alex is showing all of his traits, in particular the courage. Murray was not an athletic looking player but had a lot of skill. I've been waiting to see the game Alex had last night. There will be plenty more to come, and I believe there is still plenty of upside.

Best game for the tigers.

Love his run out of the backline, however his short kicking to teammates inside the 50 is still heart in the mouth stuff on occasions.

Easily his best game for the club; played extremely well.

Agree Riddles..........

I have been a critic of this kids lack of football nouse ever since his arrival at the Club, but tonight he showed and displayed good skills and poise when under the gun and it was a pleasure to see.......... I couldn't believe my eyes the composure he showed for nearly the entire game and against overwhelming odds also, for that alone he may well have earnt the "3 votes tonight" ( I expect the Cotch's of the world to play that type of game)........

Rancid actually looked like the cool head in the crisis and led the way for the likes of even McGoofball to play a half decent game, (although Grigg's effort of late are a little disconcerting) and along with Newman and Grimes led a stellar performance last night.

No lets see these newly incorporated "football smarts" on display every week, thats the next goal, no way am I expecting a game like last nights ever week, but lets see some consistency at the very least, as someone mentioned earlier............

Lets aim at lessening the gap between "Best & Worst", that would be a huge plus for this team.

Perhaps we could keep this improvement in mind next time we want to abuse a kid on the internet for not being the finished article.

Cracking game by Sir Rancealot last night. Climbed aboard his snowy white stallion and charged through the evil Esserdum.

Rancey will no doubt still have the odd crap game or mega blunder, purely because he's still a young, inexperienced, developing footballer, but he's seriously starting to put together all the bits n pieces required of a quality rebounding key defender.
Mega competitive, strong, hard running, and composed. Yep, composed, often appears to take off like a startled rabbit when he gets it from defence but nearly always finds the gap in traffic then either delivers well into space or uses a teammate in close for the old one two give and run receive.
