I would play Rance on Pavlich this week. McGuane goes to Bradley and Grimes to Ballantyne.
Sounds about right unless Pavlich moves into the midfield

Gus has to be prepared to drop back when Sandilands inevitably parks his 24 storey building near the goal square

Im not sure how u rate clarke navy, &to be honest i dont rate him that highly, but rance, &mcguane, took apart a guy who many reckon we should throw a lot of money at. And who many thought, along with looney, would kick a bag against us.
Rance played a good alround game.

As leysy said Rance had a good solid game. Hopefully he can keep it up in what will be a far sterner test this week. Especially with the ball in his hand.

Clark's purely a ruckman Brodders. Never kicked double figure goals in a season. In fact he's horrible up forward.

With Leuenberger up there it will be best for himself & the club if he goes elsewhere where he can play 80-90% as 1st ruck each week. Could be an excellent pickup for a club that is able to give him that opportunity. Had an absolutely phenominal year in 09' where only Sandilands was a better ruck & is still only 23.

Leysy would certainly enquire if he was in Hartley & CC's shoes as we badly need a quality No 1 ruck.

Rance is currently my favourite Richmond player. I jsut love the way he goes about his footy, is tough, unselfish, puts his body on the line and seems to have improved many facets of his game over the last year. The signs were good I thought at the end of last season. Am a big fan of this lad and glad he is wearing our guernsey. Glad he is starting to change the opinion of others too.

Just about his best game, actually looked a bit like he did for WA at FB, needs to start takin some scalps now

I thought he was excellent on Saturday night... Strong in the contest - good overhead and nice skills. His clean pickup and handball through traffic in a critical moment of the game shows he has the ability. Probably gets Mayne this weekend (McGuane/Bradley) - who has been in reasonable form.

Watching it as we speak, he then got the ball back an delivered to Dusty who in turn banged it to TY Goal

Well done to Alex, really solid game - maybe the info that he's been told he'll be fullback for the rest of the year has been a big shot of confidence for the young fella. Aside from the out of bounds in the 3rd his kicking was very good and he evaded well under pressure. He might have his hands full next week with Big Bazza if he's back.

Bring on the Bullies I say - I reckon we are a big show to roll them next week!

Rance - well I was doubting I would see the day you arrived but I have.

Good lad for having the confidence to make the play it was exciting.

Is it just me, but him and Grimes always seem to start slowly, they give away a lot of frees early, but as the match wears on they start to come into the game a lot more and their descision making and confidence gets better.

The eraly frees they give away is a worry.

2nd half Rance was very good.

Made a great play today in leaving his opponent Bradley to sprint 30m and kill a contest when Mayne was all by himself. The game was close at that stage and thought it really swung momentum our way.

Improving but we are slow to move move the ball out of the backline becase apart front Deledio and Newman their kicking skills are not flash. Their negating skills are good though.

Rance played some good football. Always good to see a written-off player turn it around.
And I've gotta own up as someone who didn't think he was capable of turning it around.
But he's done it - and full credit to him.
Realy good signs today. Great stuff Alex. My apologies for having the doubts.

It is understandable after decades of seeing players never improve off their initial skill base. This player development business is going to take time getting used to.

Very very good game by Rance today. Very exciting to see, maybe we have found the full back that we desperately need.
