Waite is a *smile*. He had it coming. Alex did the job old school. Hopefully he's an automatic selection upon serving his sentence.

Worse than a *smile* he's a coward, like father like son.

Poor comment

The poor comment has come from you BCL!

Waite IS a *smile*, a dirty, sniping one at that. Like someone else said, "like father, like son".

Double What? I thought the club would appeal. Rance is standing still, Waite runs into him. But kicking backwards is ok.

The Match Review Panel is still the biggest mystery in AFL.

Just getting back on the topic chaps, Rancid has accepted the 3 weeks.

Good decision. Looking at it again he wouldn't of got off, would've got 4 weeks.

Thursty has got a reasonable record on Riewoldt. McGuane to Kosi. Astbury to Gamble.

Easy change. But I reckon Rance is stiff to get three weeks. Sad too, would have liked to see him over the next three weeks.
Agree

Hopefully Astbury is better this week - he had an absolute stinker last thurs.

Why not now? I would have thought a good option to come in for Rance.

Possibly Tooheys, Leysy certainly wouldnt be dissappointed to see him play.

But the club may baulk at playing 3 guys with a total of 3 games experience in the back 6 against an experienced team like St Kilda.

Playing devils advocate, but do we need to being in a tall for Rance at all. We were caught out a bit going to tall back there last week once Waite went off. The Saints look like having only Reiwoldt & on the odd occasion a resting McEvoy down there. McGuane & Astbury respectively would get those jobs regardless of who comes in.

Gamble will be the other target, Batchelor, Newman or Lids should all be able to handle him OK.

A case could be made for bringing in an extra runner to a match that will be a gruelling last man standing affair that the Saints always ensure.

Possibly King for Rance may be the only change...

conca might be a nice match. He looks very balanced to me - low centre of gravity; which is also Milne's real strength

If we genuinely think Thursfield would make the difference between a win and a loss against the Aints then I'll support it. Otherwise I'd rather get the game experience into Grimes.

This would be a preference than going in with Thursfield.

Makes no sense to bring in another tall. If Edwards isn't dropped, this sounds like the most likely change.

Unless Foley still has the squirts.

You'd hope Helbig might get another even though he was only moderate. A Tcuk wouldn't go astray.

Dunno how you can tell that, I look at the incident several times and the video is pretty inconclusive. There are bodies going everywhere, players looking at their man and the incoming kick, it’s entirely conceivable that it was just one of those things that happen without intent. If Rance had grabbed his head and faked like it was an accidental head clash rather than Waite’s head on his shoulder he probably would have got off.
