Tigers of Old said:The photos of Rance in fine shape at Barwon Heads have certainly have caught plenty of folks attention but what can we reasonably expect from him leading into year two?
When's he going to debut?
How many games will he play?
Where is he going to play?
I noticed he recently won Coburg's best RFC listed player this season which is promising and he's sure an exciting prospect but how do folks think he'll go in '09 really?
He's OK, Could probably hope for some improvement.Tigers of Old said:How was Alex's disposal by foot for Coburg in '08?

Thats half the fun of going on here. People chucking a full on hissy fit when young kids get tested and rested at senior level.hopper said:I admit I laugh a little whenever I see predictions that 8-10 games will be a good result for a young player, ala Rance. Because this means that they would likely be promoted and dropped at least a few times during the season. And when that happens ... this joint usually goes into selection meltdown.

We've got a lot to work with, but he needs to greatly improve his composure & kicking to make his mark at AFL level.
8 games would be a good season from him.

Will be interesting then to see if some here are as patient with Alex's stray disposals initially at senior level as they have been with Lace Out Luke's.
Very true TM. One does need to keep one's sense of humour about one's self!TigerMasochist said:Thats half the fun of going on here. People chucking a full on hissy fit when young kids get tested and rested at senior level.
SCOOP said:I would say Rance is already a better user of the ball then Muscles McGuane. And Rance is 50 times more creative as a footballer, Rance will run and carry and get involved with link ups. McGuane doesn't.
