The Nankster is the least of our problems at the moment. He's probably the most competitive player we've got out there each week. Poor bugger could use some help but sure as *smile* ain't getting any from a lot of senior players.
That isn't an afterglow, it's the headlight of an express train thundering down the tunnel and right now Ouzo's looking like a deer standing in the middle of the track.
There's only one thing to hope for this year n that Ouzo is taking a long hard look at what he's got and making big fat plans for seasons end. Gunna need a big, big dunny brush.
Don't give a *smile* whether Ouzo sits in the box or on the boundary ( it's probably a better assessing view from up top ). But he needs to change the team system for the rest of the year, into the most simple n basic style. Give each player a bloke to be responsible for n run with that bloke everywhere he goes, even to the crapper if necessary. Last few games we've played shuffle up the ground n guard a bit of space while trying to catch your breath. Woofers n Brisvegas have simply picked the ground apart with some short passing n switch of play to constantly unopposed team mates. Start with the simplest n most basic requirement of footy n make every ball a contest because if we don't every team in the comp will pick us apart all year long, it'll be ten goals plus per game and none of the youngsters will learn anything bar standing in holes guarding space.
