And no leapTrain tracks player, really poor agility and average pace usually signals battler. Lennon was a very good kick but that alone won't cut the mustard, certainly not for a first round pick.

Nice. Wanna see him as the lead up forward hitting the logos, then doubling back. Leave the goal square to Tom.Balta is training as a forward.
Not sure Balta has the tank to do that kind of running. Actually, I am very sure he doesn’t.Nice. Wanna see him as the lead up forward hitting the logos, then doubling back. Leave the goal square to Tom.
If we play that way it has to be with only one ruck.Lynch, Balta and Koschitzke could be an awesome trio. especially with the ball coming in fast.
He doesn’t have an elite tank but he did get up the ground a bit in the last two games of the season as a forward, took some nice marks on the wings. Prefer him down back but I think he’s got the talent to be a pretty good key forward as well. Not sure Balta has the tank to do that kind of running. Actually, I am very sure he doesn’t.
Funny player is Balta, the whole is definitely less than the sum of the parts.
OR get 60 kicked on him while topping the comp for intercept marksI reckon Balta will kick 60 goals this year.
I've been against Noah B moving forward as he's been pretty good down back, but we have depth down there and none up front, so am ok with Yze trialling this. Balta has got the tools, it's the smarts that is in question.
I've said that before. I question if he is fit enough despite his impressive physiche. If he gets fitter I think he can eradicate the brain fades & become a genuine superstar. I hope the footy dept is putting it on him to improve that side of his game.He is ok
If he is having a bad day, he is delist material.
I would get him super fit and play him as a ruck rover. On the ball.
A Blivass type role
Yeah, Gibcus opens things up quite a bit. Give it a go but I'm fair from sold. I think he is a top tier back. I would rather trial Gibcus.I've been against Noah B moving forward as he's been pretty good down back, but we have depth down there and none up front, so am ok with Yze trialling this. And expecting Gibcus to take the monsters in what is really only his second season coming off a major injury is asking way too much imo.Yeah, Gibcus opens things up quite a bit. Give it a go but I'm fair from sold. I think he is a top tier back. I would rather trial Gibcus.
Young for the monsters. Godcus to intercept. And expecting Gibcus to take the monsters in what is really only his second season coming off a major injury is asking way too much imo.
I don’t think Balta is a great one on one defender. Great interceptor but gets beaten too much in one on one aerials for my liking. To that end, I don’t mind us trying him up forward again but overall, from a team perspective, dunno if we’re robbing Peter to pay Paul by doing so.
Bit of a conundrum.
Not sure he’s a monster muncher either.Young for the monsters. Godcus to intercept.

Astbury/Rance/Grimes = Young/Balta/Gibcus.Young for the monsters. Godcus to intercept.
Kosi then. As you know, the main thing is to get Balta forward. Not sure he’s a monster muncher either.
