2024 Training With The Ooze Crew

Thank God for PRE's intrepid track watchers.

If left totally up to the club sharing injury info we'd have no idea.
Pretty poor of the club to put out that injury update a month or so back yet leave off half the guys who are visibly injured and had been spotted in the rehab group or hardly training most of the summer (at the time of report - Coulthard, Bauer, Juddy, Young just to name a few). Yeh it’s pre season and it’s not imperative for fans to know exactly what’s going on but would’ve been nice. Now with the season upcoming I’m sure they’ll be more transparent

How about round 12 v Geelong in Geelong on Saturday June 1 followed by Adelaide in Adelaide on Thursday June 6.

Clowns running our game who approves this rubbish. Don't expect much from Dillion like most another puppet.

VFL practice match against Collingwood at 3pm Tuesday at Punt Road, which will be live streamed on the Richmond app and website. Good to see our younger guys will get a match in as well!

They have no intention of playing Lynch in round zero, here is a line out of attached article which goes into a lot more detail on Lynch

Lynch has only just returned to full training and will complete a mini pre-season over the next few weeks before he is given the green light to return.
Reading that, i wouldn't be surprised if he takes an extra week & comes back against THAT Port backline. Eespecially if Balta/Kosi fire up fwd.

Does anyone know the status of ticketing for the Charity shield game?

I've tried to get tickets just now but not letting me, can't find any info on whether its sold out or not.
Did you end up getting tickets @TigerPunk?

I've been having more than the usual trouble on the Ticketmaster site.
I select a ticket, put my payment details in, then I can't get any further because I get an error message comes up that says "Oops! Secure Ticket selection is required"
The problem is, there is nowhere on the page to select a Secure Ticket or not.
I went through the whole process several times to make sure I wasn't missing it.

Emailed Ticketmaster (they don't put a phone number up on their Contact Us page) and they say to use Google Chrome, and to make sure I've selected a Secure Ticket or not on the Checkout Page.

How the *smile* can I get to the Checkout page when the error is on the Payment page? How *smile* is their site? Do they actually want to sell tickets?
All this effort for what is basically a $10 donation to FoodBank
They are a disgrace.
I have to calm down now before I reply again...

Hope you've had better luck.

I just clicked through from the “buy tickets” button on the AFL app and the secure ticket option is showing up.

Good News Training Day Sunday:

In brilliant sunshine a 2 hour training session with good vibes was held in front of family and friends.

In great news
Prestia, Taranto, Lynch and BAUER trained fully, in fact Lynchy was still running laps 15 minutes after other players went inside and I left, (this is in keeping with the stated mini pre-season they are putting him through), I think Lynchy will be putting his hand up for the Carlton game but conditioning staff will have the final say.
Bauer: Played back and looked very good for someone who has had a very restricted pre-season.
Dusty: Looks to be firing and was the third last player to leave the track, instead having some shots on goal and chatting with his good mate Newy.

Lefau: Played on Gibcus when it came to match sim type drills, towards the end of session he had set shot kicking instruction, he doesn't seem to have too much wrong with his action, the ball really thumps off his boot.
Young: Matched up on Lynch.
Steely: Got to the right spots again.
Mansel: Not training but spotted in bare feet and out of moon boot.

Only possible negative? :

Nank: Was not out there at all, Naismith firming for round zero, recruiting could be a masterstroke?

The wrap:

Best session of the summer, ball movement pretty clean and all in good spirits and humour, (no doubt aided by the presence of family and friends and the fact the season proper is just around the corner).

Cheers

I have safari on iPhone.

Go to the AFL app or site and click on matches, then select competition AFL pre season, then buy tickets.

Thanks mate.
I tried that, also via the link from the email as well as direct on the Ticketmaster website.
Tried on Safari and Google on my iPhone and Chrome, Edge and Firefox on my PC.
No luck.
Cleared the cache on both PC and phone. Nup.
Was going to give up but tried the old helpdesk standard, and turned my phone off then on again.
What do you know, I now have a ticket

Can’t work out why I had same problem on my Pc at the same time though

Cheers

Thanks for your reporting over summer. Very much appreciated. This seems like a far better pre-season than last year from a physical preparation perspective.

They may have got the timing right on a few blokes? even though there has been a lot of movement over the summer through rehab and conditioning.

Good work Caesar. I spoke with Mansell yesterday and he told me the moon boot was coming off today. He is aiming at round 2 or 3 to be back but said it was up to the rehab staff. He is busting to get out there.
