Good to hear of kelti form , I’m not completely across his strengths , sounds like marking is one which is a big plus
Not necessarily which is why i highlighted his marking today.Good to hear of kelti form , I’m not completely across his strengths , sounds like marking is one which is a big plus
I am assuming Dusty is ready to go for Tuesday? Not necessarily which is why i highlighted his marking today.
Yes, appears to be on track, trained fully. Wouldn't be surprised if they had one last training session on Sunday before Tuesday's match?I am assuming Dusty is ready to go for Tuesday?
that'd make sense. I get the feeling we have managed some guys the last couple of weeks. we'll find out for sure on monday when the sqd is announced.Yes, appears to be on track, trained fully. Wouldn't be surprised if they had one last training session on Sunday before Tuesday's match?
Inside word is he's cherry ripe. Definitely being managed. Debate is does he need a touch before Round Gold Coast, or is he good to go in cold and get a feel during that game. Hammy is fine right now.Be amazed if Meatball plays. Surely he's on ice you'd think.
Interesting if he plays round 0, because i think it would be pretty unlikely for him to back up in round 1 after a 5 day break wouldn’t you think? Guys like he and Grimes (Lynch we already know about) surely won’t play bothInside word is he's cherry ripe. Definitely being managed. I'd be surprised if Prestia plays GC & think he'll play v Carlton instead along with Lynch. Grimes is underdone so i'd reckon Brown plays GC instead. Prestia to play a half to 3/4 on tues to give him a run with McAuliffe to play 1-2 1/4's in his place?Interesting if he plays round 0, because i think it would be pretty unlikely for him to back up in round 1 after a 5 day break wouldn’t you think? Wouldn’t mind that. Would love if Brown kept Grimes out on form too. Clean slate with a new coach so no old biases, and we’ll pick players purely on form and not reputation hopefullyI'd be surprised if Prestia plays GC & think he'll play v Carlton instead along with Lynch. Word out of the Club has been that is what we'll do & it's what we need to do. Also allows us to manage players with a 5 day break etc. Having younger players looking ready to take over a spot in the side certainly helps.Wouldn’t mind that. I think the club would be absolutely STUPID to play Prestia & Lynch in 0 round
Its a long season and we need these 2 boys to be cherry ripe
Reckon the port game might seem more realistic for Lynch thenThey have no intention of playing Lynch in round zero, here is a line out of attached article which goes into a lot more detail on Lynch
Lynch has only just returned to full training and will complete a mini pre-season over the next few weeks before he is given the green light to return.
Inspiring comeback adds to Tigers' talls dilemma
After an exceptional first pre-season at Richmond, Sam Naismith is on track to complete an unlikely AFL return 1354 days after his most recent appearancewww.afl.com.au

Also, are we actually going to announce our VC/VC’s?? the VFL did a whole video introducing the leadership group. Would be nice to know, especially considering our captain seems unlikely for the first game . I know Short did the toss for the practice game so possibly he could be a VCW
Why does the club think it’s a good idea to keep a secret?Reckon the port game might seem more realistic for Lynch then

We didn’t even know who was VC last year. Presumably Jack Riewoldt still but who knows. Haven’t announced a leadership group for years eitherWhy does the club think it’s a good idea to keep a secret?
Thank God for PRE's intrepid track watchers.Injury reports just has hard to come by too.
