2024 Richmond Coach

That's not how interviews are done these days apparently.

First you get the candidate to head overseas to a remote a luxurious location. Then you send the chairperson of the club to that location interview them. (y)
And that’s only when it’s been planned months in advance and a decision has already been made

Now it has been said that Josh Carr is an extrovert. As a player he was a well known niggly antagonist, a tough run-with player. Disliked by opponents to the point where, infamously, Riccuitto and Carr went outside a pub to settle their differences- and Riccuito towelled him.
I have concerns about the fact that he was not respected by his opposition.
I an worried Dusty won’t like him.

I hope Dimma is at least consulted if he played with him.

Interviews at Punt Rd starting soon?

If so you would expect Camera snipers everywhere.
Behind trees, up trees, adjoining roof tops and balconies trying to get the money shot.
Was that Carr? Newy? Grigga? Hinkley? Yze?
Mini prob the only guy who can go for the interview without anyone batting an eyelid.

Nikon, Pentax fully charged.
Snapperazzi at the ready.

I must be on my own. Mini is essentially another Dimma or an extension of him. I'd prefer a reset with an outside coach.
Agree. Fresh set of eyes and a reset required.

On the balance of probability I’d be happy giving another Dimma a go.

Not sure about Roo towling him up. The most common retelling of that story is that Carr more than held his own and it was a bloody good fight.

Premiership coaches more often than not seem to come from the tough player brigade. It might say something about the industry and the crap senior coaches have to put up with from the media, the AFL and the public.

You're not on your own. There is at least 2 of you that think that.
