2024 Richmond Coach

Players may well have checked out after Hardwick "got busted chatting up" with Port and the Suns if that report is true.

Shitful loss to the Swans that weekend, then the run of really bad losses to the Suns and Drugs that ultimately cost us finals run.

The club is along ways from the club 2017-20, and I still have a suspicion Hardwick's choices in 2020 and the repercussions of those choices set the tailspin in motion post 2020 GF.

The club has not been the same animal from the return in 21 but thats my outside persepctive, maybe Im wrong but Its my belief.
We will see in 24 Craig.

The senior players will tell me a lot of what to expect.

But we got to inject youthful exuberance to keep the senior players on their toes.

The new coach, whether it’s Mini or someone has got to send a message and set the tone from when he gets appointed.

Interesting if true this is what someone has posted on BF

Reminds me of when the Bombres were interviewing Hardwick & Knights.

Knights told them that they had a list made for finals, Dimma told them they needed a complete overhaul.

Knights got the job. Dimma got us flags.

I hope we don't fall for the same trap.

Same thought Sin. I laughed at the Dorks getting some short tempered lolnorf player from the 80s while we got the better known Terry Wallace who also played with us.......and boy was I wrong.
I was the opposite. Wallace was the last one I wanted! Did they dirty on the dogs which showed his true character. Was so disappointed when he was appointed

I get the feeling we will

I don't have any preference. Think the person the club thinks is the best candidate should be the coach.

They're the ones that have done the interviews & gone through the process. None of us are privy to that.

Good luck to the remaining two.

I actually think we are scraping the barrel and will end up with the scraps. Reality is the 2 coaches we should of had are now at the Pies and GWS. The one we really wanted knocked us back because his wife didnt want to leave Adelaide. That leaves us with Mini and Yze. Mini means the players will have the run of the club and Yze doesn't fill me with any confidence at all. Think we are in for long term pain with either of them tbh.

Id be keeping Grigg on speed dial as he may be needed in a year or 2
