That’s what I couldn’t understand Carrs decision. There are only 18 of these jobs and we are a very attractive proposition for anyone wanting to be a senior coach. Yet Carr wants to limit his prospects even further to the one club. So what happens if Hinkley wins a flag over the next two years and decides he wants to stay for a few more years. Carr has already put his career on hold for 2 years, would he be prepared to do it for a further 2 or more years?If that's putting them of, then they're not the right person for the job imo.
As I've said before, we want someone who'd crawl over broken glass to coach us. The rest can go forth & multiply.
Strange decision for a professional coach to take. He’s either got massive tickets on himself or isn’t really desperate to be a senior coach or both.
In any case if he doesn’t want to coach us then I wish him nothing but a miserable time of it.
