so for those playing at home, it would seem our season starts as:

Round 0 - Gold Coast away
Round 1 - Carlton away (5 day break)
Round 2 - bye
Round 3 - St Kilda in Adelaide.

Talk about getting absolutely reamed by the AFL.

Apparently Gather Round is R4, so what i posted above is incorrect.

Great. The first game of the year usually takes a bit out of the players. Sore bodies. And we’ve got a 5 day break from it. Well done again AFL…well done again.

And of course we’re the only club from that wretched round 0 with a 5 day break. AFL cooking us again before the season even starts

What a *** joke. A 5 day break and 2 interstate games in the first 3 rounds.

Besides the football performance impact, there’s also the membership and financial impact as well by having the team play just 3 times in the first 4 weeks and 2 of those 3 are interstate as well.

Richmond fans in Victoria only get to see their team play live once in the first 4 weeks. *** off !

Anti Richmond cheats are at it again. I would be absolutely ropable if I was Gale.

They better give us a run later in the season like we had in 2019 - 8 games in a row at the G to finish the season! That sure got oppo fans wound up . But in all honesty they better look after us later in the year after what they’re doing to us early doors

The worst fixturing that I can remember. I have no issue with the game against Gold Coast. But Carlton 5 days later WTF!!

This tops us playing St. Kilda at some feral suburb in Adelaide. It would like having to play against St. Kilda at Moorabin.

Throw in the fact that 4.30pm on Gold Cost early March could easily be 30 degrees, and it will be a maxxed out fight to the death against Dimma - yes totally reemed with a 5 day break into Carlton blockbuster. Like a horse second-up, not good
