2024 Draft Thread

High risk high reward strategy by the RFC.
It's loaded with risk, I think we'll need some luck on the injury front, talent can't be questioned however so the booms should be core players. We'll probably need a 50% strike rate to make this draft work. Grabbing two forwards should ensure one hit I would hope, Faull & Armstrong are actually strangely complimentary, I can see them working together, probably Faull playing further up the ground.

Interesting decision will have to make as no doubt will get offers . May not be for a tall as it appears the clubs didn’t rate this years crop of talls .

Without knowing much of what’s left I wouldn’t mind getting Dobson , otherwise a future first from anyone and they can give us a pick in this years second round , Brissy owe us a favour so how about future 1 and 34 for 27
I'm a Dobson fan so I would be happy with that pick.

Brissy don't have 34. Next pick is 46, plus I can't see them trading their 1st next year as they have another highly rated mid in their academy next year.

Though I could see them wanting to add someone like Whitlock.

Oh crap more risks! I love it. We won't go down wondering :)
*smile* it. If you're gunna go down swingin, make sure you're swingin hard. As Tarzan would say ahhhoooheeeehurrrgh or something similar to that while playing bongo rhythms on his chest.

I thought they only gave up picks in the 40s tonight and still had 27 and 34 , I must have misread mrp

If they can stay healthy these selections have the talent to play a lot of games of football for the 1s.

A pity though that we haven't just tweaked the injury god's nose as lined him up and kicked him right between his loose change and his hankie.

Yes Bully. A lot of faith has been placed in our new head S&C guy.
