I reckon this is all noise. VIC clubs were (rightfully) annoyed at the freebie GCS were given last year. I suspect to appease them (whilst the Suns only have 1 first round talent this year) they will tweak the NGA rules to allow bids from Pick 20 onwards instead of 40. I think the main draft currency issues will come in from 2025.

Totally agree with this. Kane has come across as a rank amateur and looks totally out of her depth. Her appointment is looking nothing more than virtue signalling tokenism.
Hardly a big statement. She is a diversity hire if ever there was one. Law degree from LaTrobe is only a fraction up from ACU. Her work at Kangas was Mickey mouse stuff, kind of job you give to the nephew/niece of a major club supporter where they look busy but nobody really cares what they do. If Brendan Gale was a Ferrari, Laura would be a Nissan Leaf.
Our strategy should be to demand change starts from 2025 or we want and deserve a 1st round compensation pick.
