Absolutely shafted thanks to the media.PROGRESS ON SUNS' TIGER TARGET
GOLD Coast is getting close to landing priority target Daniel Rioli, with the Suns set to part with picks No.6 and 23 for the Tigers star.
The deal will also include a swap of later selections that will aid the Suns in their matching of Academy prospect Leo Lombard.
The Tigers have wanted more than pick No.6 for their best-and-fairest winner, who is keen to link back up with Gold Coast coach Damien Hardwick in Queensland.
He has been offered a five-year deal with the Suns.
What the hell has Port done?Ok ok not Richmond related but this trading period has been full on!
According to Cal Twomey, this is where the 3-team trade between Collingwood, Port Adelaide, and the Gold Coast Suns currently sits.

Boxshall had a blinder in the Wa's state combine yesterday. He ran the 2k in 6:08 which would've have had him finish 2nd in the National Combine. His 7.98 seconds for the agility would had him finish 5th, and his standing vertical jump of 73cm's would've had him 4th in the National Combine.Went and watched the Colts and League GF's yesterday.
Claremont's Hamish Davis won the medal for BOG in the Colts GF, he was very good in the 2nd half. He and Hugh Boxshall both got a heep of the ball, Boxshall is a very promising talent. Sibosado is a nice mover, FF Ravenhill took some nice marks and kicked 3 goals. Ruckman Riddle moves well and took some good grabs. I like CHB Clancy Dennis too, I've seen him play a few good games now.
Swan Districts Ottis Harvey tagged Davis, he did ok, is a well built kid, busted through a tackle at pace and kicked a very nice goal. Their ruckman Evan Smith started well, but lowered his colours to Riddle. Full forward Colby McDonald took a very good contented mark and converted, he also plays 2nd ruck, is undersized but has a good leap, might make a good backman.
Clancy of the Overflow. There's another who's a bit under the radar.Boxshall had a blinder in the Wa's state combine yesterday. As well as the Boxshall's athletics attributes he's also a very good footballer.
Could do a lot worse than pick Boxshall or Bo Allan, or both of them.

I think one thing everyone can agree upon, is that the AFL trade period is one massive convoluted mess - made even more absurd by the fact that so few trades are actually completed each year.NEW developments
Port Adelaide have since changed their stance on the deal - despite the proposal that would see them net three players, a first-round pick and two second-round picks in this year’s draft.
Power reject seven-pick, five-player trade that would have ended star’s ‘sleepless nights’
‘Complex as any the last 20 yrs’: How three-team deal for star came together - then fell apartwww.foxsports.com.au
The media's clickbait bs stories, makes it torturous for us footy fans which adds to the "mess".I think one thing everyone can agree upon, is that the AFL trade period is one massive convoluted mess - made even more absurd by the fact that so few trades are actually completed each year.
Compared to other leagues around the world it's totally over engineered and ineffective.
Unusual for the AFL.
Clancy might be available in the overflow (rookie draft), he goes alright.Clancy of the Overflow. There's another who's a bit under the radar.
Around the time of the champs to me he looked the clear number 1 - admittedly I didn't realise at that time how slow he was.Didn't realise what an accurate kick Langford was. If he was a touch quicker, he would be the clear number 1 for all clubs. Still looks a gun
Yeah l thought he was good at the champs ,looks a winger/flanker type ,,really strong over head and fearless.Boxshall had a blinder in the Wa's state combine yesterday. The Suns would also be trading 13.Even Gold Coat for Lukosius, a player they are throwing all over the place for limited success.
IN: 2 x future first rounders, Pick 39, John Noble
OUT: Lukosius and pick 29
So basically 2 first rounders for a guy that is all over the shop.
