2024 Draft Thread

Most of the last 20 years 20m sprint winners are not known afl players as u need so much more, such as
Where u position yourself
When u take off
Your immediate reaction time
Your intelligence
Your strength
Your agility.

Stark raving mad some people, even delusional. I come on this thread for some common sense and i get this:cool:
Get with it caesar. It's a tigers forum still a couple of months out from the draft. Right now we're working on getting picks 1 to 10 so we can clean up properly.
Anything less will not only be an anti climax, but also a sack able offence for our recruiting team.

Totally but helps if you’re one of the fastest of the good players. So still useful for comparison

Wouldn't Cornhead love that, you'd hear his head explode in Darwin. :)) :))
As long as I don’t smell it I’ll be fine.

BTW jagga, FOS and syd would be a pace, agility, skills coup for our midfield. Totally worth taking that chance with pick swaps.

The GWS recruiting head put his two cents worth in on 'Gettable', and has FOS & Lalor as # 1 worthy saying, "while FIN has had some injuries we all know what he can do".

Hope FOS makes it on to the park today as I am going to Port Melbourne for the two under 18 finals.

Alix Tauru 194cm swingman kicked 2.2 for Power today, 16 disposals 6 marks, (17y November 16 birth date).

From Draft Central:

Given his dynamism and clear athletic upside, he looks every bit a top 20 candidate should he run out the season strongly. What a find.

I just read somewhere that Alix Tauru is a Hawthorn NGA prospect?, i bloody hope not:mad:

GWS showing that with....
1 lots of high draft picks
2 a few years maturity
3 added mature trades
4 good coaching
...high draft picks in big numbers can succeed.
We really need to take as many as possible now.
4 mids/ small forward
2 tall forwards/ utility
1 Ruck if avaialble..otherwise utility
Ie 7!
