2024 Draft Thread

So the secret appears to be take the kid thats had an injury interrupted season as first pick
Its FOS or Lalor theyve both had to deal with injuries forget Jagga

Remember when a couple of clubs didn’t pick Judd because of his dodgy shoulders?
Or Duckwood with his banged up n dodgy knee 350 games n 4 flags later. Or how Burgoyne transferred to Hawforn for a year or two when his knees were already *smile*, 250 games n 3 flags later he got a bit tired n finished up. Grimes boiled spaghetti hamstrings 230 games n 3 flags later. Bring on the gimps, the game needs more injured gimps.

Yeah, fitness is very overrated…pffft.
Not many unfit fat bastards get injuries….it might be because they don’t ever get to max speed…but they don’t hang out in the physio’s room bludging.
😁

If anyone is watching WC do a number on us in Perth tonight, it's because of one massive issue. No pace. There's Conti then nothing. WC got 4-5 lightning players. Hope Toce is watching.

Jagga at 1 is a no brainer and the obvious choice. Biggest ball magnet is inside and outside end our future captain.

Would seriously hope that Blair n the crew are better than that and we get a fair n honest deal happening. Also absolutely certain that we're not going to get anywhere near what some of us one eyed over raters are demanding we get either.

They're contracted players, if they don't offer overs we say no.

Both Dan and Shai are very good players, we screw them blind or refuse.

Or Sonsie…with his aversion to body contact and commitment to the contest

We have to have speed and agility as non negotiables for all our draftees this year for sure.
