2024 Draft Thread

Who cares better for us we know what we need to do to keep pick 1
First traditional Saturday time slot all year and they take it away from us. What advantage is there to knowing their scores? We not going to try hard if the scores don’t suit?
Also games played under lights in the wet tend to score less and in Launceston the winds pick up in the afternoons.
Also I had an expensive lunch organised at the MCG which will now be an expensive afternoon tea.
There’s a few reasons to care

Generally I would say the same..but some people fly in, have dinner reservations booked/fly out...they get stung with the flight change $$ etc...

Not to bad for locals but sux for travelers.

how does FOS' leadership compare to Smitty?

FOS is more likely to bring the boys in and say 'c'mon fellas, bring it in ..... lets put in 110%, and beat these *smile*'

whereas Jagga is more likely to say 'OK boys, grab a jumper .... one more quarter like that and we've got these *smile* beat'

News tonight mentioned something about $1000.00 for flights to Lonny tomorrow. Didn't catch all of it, but if you'd early booked a FIFO arrangement at possibly around $100.00 each way just for the game and suddenly had to adjust. You'd be pants down, bent over n seriously getting reamed.

The Whitlocks. Think they're about right in the rankings ie 20 or so but can't quite get a lock on them personally.

Sometimes they look pretty good - good movement for their height, dual sided, good below their knees for their height, can take the odd good grab.

But then other times they look a bit unco, drop marks that they should take, don't compete as hard as they maybe could be.

Maybe they haven't quite grown into their bodies. Maybe their confidence still needs developing.

Slow burns ? Who knows. Could be great. Could be busts. Can't quite get a pulse on them. Think maybe Matt is the best of the two. Can play both back and up front. Looks the more sure of the two, at this stage.

Isn't this standard procedure for most of seriously tall kids? Takes them a few extra years to figure out exactly where the ends of their arms n legs actually are.
Pretty sure that Samsung bloke is still trying to figure out where his arms turn into hands.

One of the biggest traits talls can have is, courage, hardness, determination, so many great key forwards had these.
Lynch,Carey, Jack,Hawkins, Brisbane Brown, young Darcy, etc, then u look at missing all 3 mostly u have, Scache,Vickery, Weidmann, etc.
