2024 Delisted “free” agents

he's probably our best option for the psd at this stage if he's interested of course. too young to be snapped up as a dfa?
No age restrictions on a dfa, you’re thinking of restricted/unrestricted agents.

I'd rather give someone like Caroll a chance then extend Dows contract. Unfortunately I think Dow and Kmac will get another year

What about we look at Cumberland or Coulthard as potential DFA's? Worth a shot I reckon.

I can never tell the difference between the Carrolls. One of em is injured all the time and the other one is no *smile* good (NFG.) But maybe I've got that the wrong way round. Maybe the one that's injured is NFG and the one that's NFG is injured.

Freo have dumped Tom Emmett, a mid sized forward. Played 13 games this season so may consider himself stiff. Having said that I saw him in one game and he was terrible, just seemed to make mistake after mistake. Freo already have that Corey Wagner who does that so maybe they didn’t 2 of them doing that.

Haven't we already got three or four of that type of player???
All of our tall forwards bar Bauer are genuine kpp prospects.
Lynch, Koschitzke, Lefau, Fawcett, Gray. Lefau had the mobility to play as a third tall. I'm not sure how a second knee is going to affect that.

All mentioned bar Lynch were taken from pick 43 onwards in the nd. obviously it includes the other drafts like msd psd and rookie drafts which are all after the ND and is primarily used to take dfa's, state league players and kids that were not picked up in the draft.

What would the success rate for all clubs with picks after 42 be. 1 in 5 or 6 maybe.

We have a lot of players on the list taken from pick 40 onwards.
While its a given where a player is taken it does not mean they will fail . What it does do is give an idea of how many you may have to take to find one goodun from this point onwards.

We have the numbers. The question is have we found one or two of quality? We are about to find out next year i would say.

For key positon prospects it's below 10%, the best chance to grab a key forward late is the ruck/forwards like Larkey, if you are in the market for a 195cm forward a top 15 pick is usually required. That's why I would be making Whitlock & Simms the top priority once we sort out the midfield.

We may have an opportunity to grab the best kpf in the draft. it would be at the expense of a highly rated mid though id say.
I don't think he will slip to 10 and at six im hoping we take a mid.

Don't think there is a tall forward apart from him worth taking at 10 or 11 so one at 18, 20, 23 or 24 would be the go for me. Dont mind if we reach just a tad here for one but not with our first 4 basically top ten picks.

Next years draft is supposed to have a better pool of talls than this year. So one this year and target a top one next year.

No big deal next year it gives us a good look to see how Fawcett Bauer and Gray develop see if Lefau can get over injury and see what pick 18 - 24 if we use it has to offer.
