2023 mid-season rookie draft

Bully who would you take between him and Hunter ?.
Hunter looks quite nimble, the ACL hasn't appeared to have impacted his mobility, he looks like the better of the two when it comes to pure forward craft, his groundball work impressive, I can sense why Essendon are interested, plays a similar game to Harrsion Jones. Buller I think a bit more versatile (not that we need a key defender) but also as a pinch hitting ruck. So I guess it comes down to putting all the chips on a key forward or opting for the player with a bit more versatility. I think given defensive stocks are sound I'd probably go with the best forward at this stage.

I see more upside in Hunter. Hasn’t really looked off the pace coming back from a knee. Looks more agile as you suggest and is a lovely kick of the football.

Hunter or Buller as the KPF we need. Otherwise, just get Mutaz and upgrade to senior list.

I don’t see key forward with Hunter, reckon he’s too close to Bauer.

We need a big nasty brute.

Since when did Claremont go from RFC style sash on their guernsey to a Faux Carlton jumper !! (n) (n)

Thought they were the Tigers ...............

Dare say both Hunter and Hansen Jr have been viewed and are known quantities to our WA scouting team.

They have done some great work over past years (Baker Bolton, Broad, Pickett Stack, Grover),so maybe we might see one of these lads in a Tigers guernsey very shortly, then again we may not either :))

Most recently they dropped the sash for the 2020 season and have been like that ever since.

Prior to that, from 1992 to 2009 they also had no sash.

And prior to that about 10 years from the mid 60s to mid 70s they also had no sash.

Cheers Streaker (y)

Interesting that they chopped and changed the guernseys seems bit weird, shouldve stuck with the sash the campaigners.

Dont know if I can support them as my WAFL side wearing Carlton style Guernseys. :))

Hunter goes to West Coast in my view. I think the Maric link is just speculation. It will be Buller or Trezise to Richmond.

"Pick 4, Richmond"

"player number 237639......Riley Collier Dawkins"
We should get him & Aarts with our 2 picks. It's no concidence with them on our list we were the #1 scoring side in the comp. We delist them & are now 18th for scores per Inside 50's in the comp....

Buller is more like JVR, Hunter more like Jye Amiss, both styles relevant, Buller does look more AFL ready however, that would have to come into calculations if they are difficult to split.

I don't know if people watched the VFL game against Geelong .
Trezise was very good ,Geelong where quite hard at the contest, and a lot of our player's didn't respond well,Trezise could hold his head high.
AFL player written all over him ,very good in the contest, strong over head ,his kicking is a bit indifferent ,and looks like he can run all day.
