As a half back or small forward?
At 188cm, one of his appeals is his versatility - young, can play back, forward, wing or even mid. He looks the safest bet, a genuine talent with real potential to step up a lot more. (It's all in the name - Tre -size!)
It's tough now with about 11 clubs nominating. We might have interest in Tresize, Hunter, Teal, Hansen Jnr, May, Buller.
Must get the first one right because our 2nd preference will likely be gone. Personally, would like to try Buller because I think we need to find another KPF. He looks promising now he's overcome injurt setbacks. Bullus' esteemed judgement is, "Ruck/forwards always the best bet ..."
However, we already have the 2 Bs - Bauer and Bradtke - neither of whom we have seen fit to give a senior game yet. Although it looks they are training Bauer to play back as a possible replacement for Tarrant in '24 with Grimes re-signed.
Is Bradtke much more advanced, a better prospect than Buller? What do VFL watchers think? I have watched some VFL games on TV and he's shown he is probably worth a go after Jack retires, whether sooner or later.
Sill wouldn't mind taking Buller or Hunter though - even if Bradtke makes it. Nank may burn out young from wear n'tear, Ryan will become No.1 ruck in a couple of years, and Tom is into his 30s.
Tresize most likely the safer bet; but be very surprised if Buller is there for our 2nd. Think that might come down to Teal or May.
# Apologies; have come a bit late to this thread and just caught up will all the footage. Confused Buller/Hunter - similar types and looking - happy with either but Buller preference.
