well that would make me happy b/c I am a big fan of Matt J.
But I don't think we tend to play these types of games... unfortunately.
We dont normally,
But having a top 10 pick wedged between freos 2 picks might prompt some gamesmanship i reckon?

Where abouts is he expected to go? Rookie? Maybe he's our replacement for Biggie?
Absolutely agree - no way I use pick 7 on a KPD. Where did we get Rance, Grimes, Astbury, Broad - not in the top 10...With Gibcus coming into contention at pick 7, does anyone share my concern at potentially using pick 7 on a key defender?
Top 10 picks should be used for gun midfielders or key forwards. History shows there are plenty of solid key defenders to be found in later rounds of the draft.
I couldn't careless how long you have been doing it ,that doesn't make your assessments on player's right .
And you are a keyboard warrior ,you don't watch live matches.
My biggest issue is when you write off player's without having a full understanding of them ,but anyway hi ho hi ho.
No I would be just as happy with Gibcus as with a midfielder. With Gibcus coming into contention at pick 7, does anyone share my concern at potentially using pick 7 on a key defender?

Like this kid lot to work with.I'd be ok with Draper, perfect choice for a late twenties pick, big upside if he can develop a defensive mindset, could be a weapon on many fronts.
Is his kicking a issue through ?.No I would be just as happy with Gibcus as with a midfielder.
How do you rate him ?.Nah, no way that happens. we trade up & then grab him with a third rounder, that would be the thinking.
I'd be so disappointed with Goater. So many better midfield options available. The more i look into it and think about it #9 - Josh Gibcus welcome to RFC
There are quality mids available later in this draft to fill our boots with
Gibcus & Goater double please
Gibcus at 9 means we don't need to reach for a tall later on,
His athletic profile is elite, and his height, speed and leap means he could be a very versatile player.
We can address that 15 and our 3 picks in twenties it's midfielder draft. Not sold on idea of wasting first round picks on a backman when we desperately need a clearance machine

Hope we get two genuine goal kicking midfielders that are inside/outside, the tougher and bigger they are the better
