2020 AFL fixture

Looks a better draw than last year. I think we had 6 of our first 15 at the G last year. This year 10 out of first 13

Actually don't going to Perth x2... last year all our WA boys were out to impress and played well IIRC....
Showin them hometown genius recruiters what they missed out on!
Who knows how many will be lining up come 2020 from Alex, Shai, Bakes, Broad, Marlion, Syd, Kmac, English & Miller

Anyone notice the Chokers have 7 of the last 9 at the G, with GC in final round, but on condition the other 2 are both in WA.

7 out of 9. It's our turn to whinge.

Gee Port Adelaides new logo is ****. Who came up with that? Looks too similar to Freos also.
Kochie scribbled it on the back of an envelope at the grand final ...... kept losing his train of thought when that ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Tiger was roaring away on the scoreboard.
Just a *smile* used car salesman of the highest order! They deserve him.:)

They struggled to beat GC are they serious?
Essendon against 12 other clubs would start as underdogs.

7 out of 8 games at the MCG in a row from round 6. Opposition supporters are going to cry over being given a dream run early in the season to give us a head start on everyone else.

Don't forget Brad McGwilliam and Steve Jackson

For example, the teams that Richmond play twice in 2020, their average ladder position on 2019 was 8th (8.4).

Richmond draw looks pretty good in this light, particularly compared to the main contenders.

WB an easy one - teams played twice are GWS, Port, NM, Freo, Carl.

Our draw probably going to be a bit harder than the above says. Collingwood, West Coast and GWS could easily be the other 3 top sides in the 4 and we play them twice. Carlton will finish a lot better than their 16th this year. Adelaide will be an interesting one. They lost 5 of their last 6 this year and will likely drop further next year. We're the champs so have to expect a tough draw. We'll be thereabouts at the top again.

We have the softest draw by far. We are the only team that doesn’t play a game against a team that finished higher than us on the ladder. Not even a measly one! How can this be?

I feel for Gold Coast, they have to play 22 games against teams that finished higher than them.

There must be a better way to do this. The reigning Premiers get a huge advantage every year.

Oh well, at least Geelong get home finals at the MCG. I hope they play us and Collingwood again in the finals, just for the LOLs.

According to a Lions supporter I heard call up.... said he was happy with the draw considering they'd finished 2nd!..... never been happier to finish 3rd on that basis!
Will be interesting to see how they go with the weight of expectation next year.

even if you're being conservative, you'd think we'll win 12 out of 14 games at the MCG. that means we need to find 3 more wins to make the top 4. that’s pretty cruisy if you ask me. I think the biggest obstacle facing us in 2020 is the terrible record this century of teams finishing on top and not converting them into flags.
