and last round bye v suns at the G
Geez. Channel 7 news with their exclusive inside info. Last time I believe anyfink Timmy tells me. News was much better years ago when Bwian told me.Wet Coke in Perf on Fri night round 22. Just a tad obvious.
How do these pricks keep getting a game against the Suns in the last couple at the G?
FFS how much they paying them for that?
The suns are done by round 12 worn out.
Last round at the G what a gift ......again as they got last season which nigh got them into the 4 which would've cost us.
According to a Lions supporter I heard call up.... said he was happy with the draw considering they'd finished 2nd!..... never been happier to finish 3rd on that basis!
Will be interesting to see how they go with the weight of expectation next year.
So that's Wet Coke, GeeWhizz, Colonwood n the Moggies with the easiest draws in the comp. Would have thought we'd somehow have the easiest draw in the comp, considering how we just play everyone who finished below us this year. The below analysis is order by degree of difficulty based on who each team is playing twice (based on 2019 home and away finishing positions)
For example, the teams that Richmond play twice in 2020, their average ladder position on 2019 was 8th (8.4).

Richmond draw looks pretty good in this light, particularly compared to the main contenders.
WB an easy one - teams played twice are GWS, Port, NM, Freo, Carl.

O.K. then. I'm obviously thinking arse about face then. Ta.no, the opposite, those teams have the hardest double ups
What happen to the top sides playing each over twice?
So the "ones" only play one game in three weeks? Not an ideal situation I would have thought coming into a QF.The plan is to get two games clear with double chance then send the ressies to WA for round 23.
Very easy draw but hard to imagine how it couldn't be when we are unlikely to lose a game all season.
I'm reminded of Warrick Todd's recollection of the 1989 Ashes series.
"By the second last test our team meetings involved reading out the name of each English player, to which we would all yell 'Girl' and be in the bar 10 minutes later."
