2014 Draft/2014 Nat Champs

I want Petracca!!!

Hopefully he gets to our pick, very skillful from what I have seen, efficient with ball use and has impressed me with every game I've seen him play.

Like the look of V-Rainbow, I reckon he wouldn't be the worst option for a late pick/rookie. :clap

We need a pure mid. No more trying to turn flankers into mids. It must be Brayshaw.
Agree 100%. But we just don't need one. We need at least two or three from this draft.

Just remember that Sundays game has been moved from Visy to Skilled. Quite a change but I don't think there is a better venue for Junior football in Victoria.
Spewing. I was going to go to Visy

Agree, we are flush with talls at this point and need pure mids - no bloody lightly built half back flankers.

And just on that, we need Vlastuin in the middle. He can do Thomas' job but with better disposal - just needs to build his tank.

Miles will hopefully reach his potential in the senior team.

Agree. Miles and Vlastuin into the midfield and everything starts to look a bit better. Got to plan further forward than 2015 at the draft. Some of the guys we've taken will develop into the holes we have.

Pickett appears very impressive as an impact player.

Johansen & Burton appear to be consistent performers too.

It looks like the D's will have to use their first round pick on Stretch.

He's a very good player but can I ask why it's him over others?

Gus or SCOOP, who are the pure mids we should be keeping an eye out for other than Brayshaw?

Based on the fact we have selected the kids over past few years that spent a week with us in their final year at TAC level, who trained with us this year and and how are they going thus far in 2014?

Player that trained with us over the summer was:

RICHMOND: Ryan Lim

Lim is a 186cm, 75kg hard-running midfielder who was a standout performer in Claremont Colts’ premiership-winning 2013 team, picking up 18 disposals and being among the Club’s best players.

He also represented Western Australia in the 2013 U18 National Championships as a bottom-aged player.

Had 15 touches in R1 vs SA
Had 17 touches in R2 vs VM

Whats skills or traits are you chasing? Plenty of good mids.

Ability to win their own ball on the inside but also has the ability to break the lines with pure pace.
