17 Round Season!

In the original fixture we had return games against Adelaide, West Coast, GWS, Carlton and Collingwood. You can just about guarantee they will keep our away games against the Eagles and Giants and lose our home ones. We probably won't play the Crows in Adelaide in a year we would have flogged them.

15/23 usually means Top 4.

65% win rate

= 11 wins/ 6 losses should be the double chance.

its 15/22 and a 68% win rate. which puts you on the borderline of 11 and 12 wins. 12 will guarantee it. you may need % with 11 wins.

as for finals, top 8 is usually 12 or 13 wins, which equates to 9 or 10 wins over 17 games. 9 with good % might be enough. everyone will be fancying their chances with that scenario, which is one of the biggest benefits of a shorter season and one of the many reason why I am an advocate of it.

How are things in Bris? You ok?

As good as could be expected. Working remotely which is good while the kids are still at school. Not sure how it will be possible to work with 6 year olds running around once schools shut

I think the potential for a baby boom in 9 months time is dependant on how long the schools stay open.

Going to be hard for people like yourself.

All the best Bris!

Woosha reckons we're gonna have 16 minute quarters. I really hope the league doesn't force teams to 'rush' games for the sake of it.

Looks like they're using the pandemic as a means to try out all their harebrained ideas.

You could see Hutchy on Footy Classified revelling in the ability to make wholesale changes. Wants a final 12 finals season, says no-one can argue against it. Well I can, why are we saying you can play finals if you finish in the bottom half of the ladder, that's whats ridiculous about it. Caroline Wilson practically scoffed and laughed at him last night and he quickly tried to change the subject. He's such a dill.

Pendles all clear...just a cold!

Jeez these are unprecedented times.

I am euphoric that the captain of Collingwood is fit.

see how they cancelled the Sheffield Sheid cricket and just handed the shield to NSW on top?

No room for coming from the back of the field this season.

we want to be on top from rd1. and stay there.

the premiership will basically be decided like a game of musical chairs.

Feeling is they will TF!

3 games in a week- 10 day blocks I reckon. To cram as many games as possible before kaka hits the shelves and people panic buy toilet paper.

Oh that’s happening.

Even as far as Sweden are they panic buying kaka rolls!!!

Can you believe these players.

No pay cuts. They want their full salaries.

Want a full season - 22 games.

Don’t want to signal out the players but I bet this view would have been primarily led by one main player.

Don’t think this will go down well with fans!

I wouldnt be getting too wound up about this season, the moment the cold weather and cold and flu season hits around Easter , the panic will go nuclear, as the incidence of just cold and flu spikes let alone the Corona. They will likely be forced to pull the pin on it, players will get it just as a percentage and when they do the team will most likely be quarantined.

I cant see how the season goes through at this stage.

The NBA season was shut down because of one player testing positive.

Jeez ET...the number of times I have seen the term "unprecedented "used this year is....well....unprecedented.

Then there is PENDLES ! His result will not be known for 48 hours after earlier reports he didn’t test for Cov-19.

Any news on Pendlebury as yet.

It's all a bit suspicious. Trump gets tested and has his results back in less than 12 hours. Dutts the Putz gets his results in 24 hours. Pendlebury takes over 48 hours? I smell a conspiracy ... Either that or the Collingwood brains trust are sticking the swap up his ars$$$.
