Worst List in the Comp for the Next few years

How can they be? :help

Many on here still are and have the exact thoughts that March did, that is, we are not as bad as we are showing.

I think we are as good as we are showing.

Have a listen to March, good job as though he has done even before today's game he was stating the list wasn't that bad.

Benny Gale was good on Ch 10 today though. When asked about Cousins and Richo he said the new coach would decide or at least have a good say.

We aren't, pretty much the same list finished 9th last year. But that doesn't mean I think the list is good enough to rise beyond that or that we don't need to keep turning it over. The coaching has been extremely poor tactically and in terms of player development and has led to a crisis in confidence this year, confidence is an incredibly powerful thing.

He said it wasn't as bad as our position this year indicated.

sheesh even after today there are those who refuse to acknowledge we have the worst list in the comp or damn close to it it dont matter.

ive said it before and bugger it im not going there im not gunna say it all again. all i have to say is i hope all the bright eyed bushy tailed deluded ferals suffer you deserve it.

Here hear Claw.
They are aweful and will be the chopping block for Western Sydney & Gold Coast for the next decade!!
Worst RFC list I've seen since 1992 when Jeans took over!!!
No future at all for Tigerland!

still over rating though Ian.

Don't agree, everyone agrees that the coaching for 5 years (or even 14) has been poor, if we had better coaching with the same list we would be in a better position without doubt.

A bit like Northey you say? He squeezed the best of the average players we had in the mid-90s and we performed well for 3 seasons.

The RFC have always been the bitches for new clubs that come into the competition.

claw, you are a hard man, but I left at quarter time today. I can watch footy all day, and generally find rays of light in all games for Richmond. I do not recognise this club right at the minute.
I am at my wits end, and will not go back until I am convinced they have turned it around. We are a farce, and I now see your HARD LINE is what has been required for a long time.....king joke.
And how bad was Rawlings?

What a f

Coaching, smoaching. Start picking the right players and don't tolerate glass half full types.

"The Kellaway sydnrome" as a wise former poster put it.

We have about 25 VFL type players on the list.

Agree SCOOP. And from what March said today I think (hope) the club has recognised that as well.

You're saying coaching has no effect, that it didn't matter that we had Wallace for the last 5 years?

For the record I did say we should keep turning the list over, as much as is reasonable. Again I'm not saying this is a possible premiership list, we have to keep turning it over as much as is reasonable.

It all comes back to recruiting and development. I'm still far from convinced we are even anywhere near the mark in these areas. Watching Rance fumble and bumble his way around the field gives more cause for concern. Pick 18 from 2007. He makes Duncan Kellaway look like Darren Jarman.
