I'd disagree there. If it came at a time when scoring made no difference to the overall result, then I'd let him try to get his name in the record books.
 
I'm in Dubrovnik today. it's hard to find a pub that is showing Australia v Peru as Croatian TV is showing Denmark v France. But I have found a pub off the beaten track that claims is showing Australia v Peru. fingers crossed.

P.S. I'm absolutely shattered I'm not in Sochi.

I tend to agree. Jedinak has been fantastic, but Luongo is a lot more creative and we need goals. I think they both could start with Rogic out.

Arzani must start. no Cahill for mine unless we are desperate with 10 minutes to go. There is a rumour going around that Kruse and Arzani might start with Leckie moving to striker.
 
Bert van Marwijk has showed that he's a very good defensive coach, but now it's time to go all out attack. I'd like to see Arzani start and when both he and Rogic get the ball have a shot. Some come on Bert, it's time to let em flirt.

I think i just heard a commentator say that the Socceroos have had more passes in their forward half than any other side. That's why i wont our players to have a few more shots on goal.

We certaintly get the ball in there Tigerman but its our polish and finishing.

5 mins in and obvious we're here to win this. We'll die scouple but may leak a goal or two because we're pushing forward.

We have all the play but of course can’t score. Peru has one serious attacking play and whacks it in ::)

Lack of world class strikers has always been the downfall of Australian soccer. We struggle badly to score in general play.
 
Worse possible start.

First real meaningful entry to Peru, could see it unfolding and beautiful strike and goal.

That was a seriously world class strike by the Peruvian. Doubt any of our players could have hit that shot.
 
Rogic is killing it but we have no one to finish his great work.

We couldn’t put it in the net if it was as wide as the mouth of the Murray.
 
Dominating but squandering great chances. Wonder if Timmy would have taken advantage.
