Always had a soft spot for Sydney and been hoping they’d get to the GF
Assumed they’d be up against Geel - and the thought of another ‘22 result frightened the bejeezus out of me
Likewise last year was horrible seeing Brisbane allow Cwood to pinch what they never deserved
But right now the pressure is off and it doesn’t matter - but I’m starting to edge towards Brissy too

Sydney looked very good on Friday night and I think a bit less flakey than Brissie.
Interesting we have an all interstate GF but it is also an all Vic-relocated GF. I suppose a South Melbourne v Fitzroy Grand Final would not have happened had they not been relocated.
I'll be going for Sydney as my partner, who has only a passing interest in footy, is a South Melbourne supporter.
While the TV down the coast is not as good as the one at home, I will enjoy being on the Bellarine as Geelong don't play in the GF.

I used to have a soft spot for the Swans, but when they landed buddy, something changed. They became “Bling FC” and a lot of their current players are flogs. Papley. Warner. Even Heeney rubs me up the wrong way.
I don’t like Brisbane either, but that’s more about the rivalry we had with them in recent years. I don’t find them as offensive now that Mitch Robinson has gone.
As for the game, I personally have Brisbane as favourites, but I don’t know how they will deal with losing their ruckman.
Does anyone have any stats for form at the MCG? I could be wrong, but it feels like Brisbane has a better recent record than the Swans.
I also laugh at how people around the country are hanging 5hit on us because there are no VIC Teams in the GF. If we are not in it, I really don’t care. I’m sure most of us feel the same.
