"that's the template we like and the players agreed" !!!!

Then Dimma will be leaving behind a bunch of players who don't know how to think big. Scrappers.

Just get rid of him now.

But surely surely surely he didnt say that.

Antman and TigerMasochist oh great defenders - Please allay leysy and advise these posts are incorrect.

He said it and i was passively listening on my iPhone whilst working, i actually did stop to process what i needed a second or so to process as opposed to being on auto pilot...

From today's presser: "We're not a side that's ever going to win by 10 goals."

FMD. Why not!?
First of all that is a terrible thing for a coach to say, especially one that has been at the club for 8 years, secondly did any of the journos ask him why?

Since the day the drug cheats emerged with Hird's Essedrug team, no journo rocks the boat and goes that extra Q when the obvious is there.
Tim Lane does on occasion by you do hear the ridicule via Mr Integrity Gill with indirect put downs. Don't think those flimsy journos want to bite the hands that feeds it imo.

I had to listen to it twice just make sure I heard it correctly.

Loser mentality.

No different to the tone he set pre - Adelaide game.

Load up on Essendon.

Dimma would make a good under 9's coach.

Nice of him to construct a way for his team play so the kiddies on the other team stay in the game, there's no tears and all the parents are happy.

Just about confirmed why our forward line has been so empty for so long, and also why Jack was treated negatively a few years ago. Dimma gave him limitations on how to play. I reckon Jack will blow the whistle when Dimma finally goes.

What an absolute loser is Dimmer Just explains all our finals loses
How does our club expect us supporters to believe in what theyre selling to us.
Dimmers only game plan is to get in front by half time. Then put handbrake on defending our lead for the rest of the game

*smile* insane :crazy :crazy

I think he has banned tackling so he is on the right track.

All he needs to do now is get rid of the scoreboard.

It doesn't matter who wins or loses just as long as you have had fun.

Just can't see any fire left in the belly with Dimma. Everything's so bland, flat and indifferent. He looks and sounds like he's going through the motions, that's all.

It was also interesting to hear Shedwards comment on how we will need to 'weather the storm...'. Ugh? Shouldn't we be going into the match looking to be/ bring the storm?

Lots of years have lead to an all too timid message coming through.

Yep I'm surprised the players have the will to get out of bed in the mornings.

His message of defensive accountability and the development of a solid, disciplined on-ground system over eight years was music to the ears of a football-deaf administration hell-bent on delivering their version of "stability".

A naive administration. A dour, reactive coach.

Middle of the road is what you get.

Haven't heard the comment or the context it was given in.

Pure guess on my behalf but maybe Dimma was simply being honest. He knows we're no where near good enough to go all out attack n win a game by ten goals, so in an effort to keep some rational perspective. He's slipped a little expectation dampener out for all the over exuberant top four n premiership capable dreamers.

FMD. Anything else n I've got nuffin, absolutely nuffin :tumbleweed :tumbleweed.
