When will Bernie go !!

Most if not all would have taken a 5-3 start to the season. Give him an extension.

Dimma's main issue is his tendency to sniff calamity before it has happened.

It permeates his every decision, and I suspect it has filtered down to the players.

No doubt Peggy and Benny are working on it now. Dimma is clearly the man to take us to our 11th flag. He has the score on the board.

I would love to argue this but I can't. The 18 games decided by less than a goal under Hardwick for 5 wins says it all.

How many of these have we lost?

And Damien.
Urgent clean out required.

Yep. Paralysis by over-analysis and over-caution.

One example was having a coaches meetings to decide whether to tell the group before the game Rancey had re-signed and then arriving at "no".

Tinnest of tin ears

Woke up even angrier. How can this fool still be in charge after the two worst finishes (Gold Coast & yesterday) in football history. Oh yeah and when Bachar kicked out up the guts against Freo in 2015. Make that the 3 dumbest losses in the history of the AFL.
... and a few more!

I remember Paul Roos calling the GC loss the "worst 90 seconds of football". Now we have the most amateurish 21 seconds of football. Schoolboys in the under 15s would not make these repeated fundamental errors.

We were going ok until Dimma took the reins against Adelaide....declared we were going defensive...Morris, an average back-pocket at best sent forward...midget forward line...long bombs to forwards and surprise, surprise, uncontested Adelaide marks and clearances.
Since then mostly 2016 style slow, putrid football until game was virtually over on Saturday and players returned to run, play-on, kamikaze style...should have pinched it by 2-3 goals.
Dimma hiding at back of box not a good look.

It would be really interesting to know just how the dynamics worked over the off-season when Hardwick was away, and since returning and the season progressing.

This was raised in my mind with hearing that he was up the back of the box during the last game. Just what is going on in there?

Seriously. Has he made us a real premiership contender in 7+ seasons??
Patch up jobs throughout his coaching stint.
We are full of coward footballers that squib the contest.
That will be his legacy

The thing that has riled me today is how easy the players are on themselves. I don't get the sense that losing is burning away at them.

Ellis: Lamenting the fact that he thought he had kicked the winner said something to effect of: Yeah it would have been nice. oh well maybe next time.

Cotchin: When asked if losing three in row was cause for concern: "I wouldn't have thought so. We've lost by 5 and 2 points...." and finished off with "we'll learn from this and move on" Seriously I'd wanted to do a Wallace and SPEW UP!

The players are now using the same lame excuses and platitudes Hardwick does. We are going nowhere. Losing doesn't seem to matter enough to the people who should be hurting the most.
