Head says we need a new coach.
Heart says I like to win. Especially against Collingwood.
Still sitting on the fence then.

lamb22 said:Ha, if Totty says it it's right and if i say it it's wrong. Fair enough too. TOT70 is a top poster.
BTW here is a picture of my extreme dog(ma). I call him Toby.
tigersnake said:I explained very clearly in the post Lamby, very clearly, 70s is balanced and gives Dimma some credit. To be fair you are getting more balanced, but you still give Dimma no credit for anything, ever.
tigersnake said:this pillar of the argument is wrong. Went conservative first half '10. released the shackles and went freewheeling, to different degrees, second half '10, 11, 12, 13. Back to conservative 14, 15, 16. Early day but looks to be back to fast moving freewheeling 17
That is't virtually all his time, its around half his time. Also shows he has changed and can change. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not convinced yet on how good his latest strategy is, we'll see. Just clearing up the dogmatic rewriting of history.

anything bad because of Dimma, anything good in spite of Dimma.

I think your summation just goes to prove how stubborn Hardwick is in returning to a failed strategy after the players keep saving hiis ar$e by ignoring it.
Finally it's the competence question. I loved our run of 9 wins in 2014 but often laughed at how our opponents usually had a better game plan and players like Jack, Martin, Shed, Cotchy, Miles and at stages Griff in that stellar spell of the 'invincibles' pulled gold out of their backsides to win games for us. Even without a fully functioning game plan our players defied the odds.
That's why I feel so bad for our elite players being shackled to someone who is out of his depth for the glory years of their careers. Such a waste. ;D
PS Just read you last post so added a smilie to the obligatory last sentence knifing.
Baron Samedi said:Righto, what on earth has Dimma done since 2013 to deserve credit?
Baron Samedi said:Pretty much., since you're so interested :hihi
antman said:Tells others to have an opinion, then can't decide whether he's supporting his own team or not.
Classic Carter.
Baron Samedi said:Strangely enough, after the game is played tonight, you'll read other people's opinions first before forming your "own".
I know the way you work Mr. T.
Baron Samedi said:What on earth has Dimma done since 2013 that deserves credit?
Your eternal forgiveness of our head coach would put a smile on the Dalai Lama's face, but it won't get us closer to a flag.
antman said:Actually it's more because I walk back to Flinders St., catch the train, walk to my car, drive home, go to bed.
lamb22 said:What can I say Baron. I believe in tolerance, forgiveness, forbearance, love and turning the other cheek.
easy said:Who ARE you going for tonight Baz?
In a way, I kind of begrudgingly respect your publicly putting your nuts on the big picture chopper last week.
Even if it was a betrayal.
Baron Samedi said:None the wiser no doubt.
