When will Bernie go !!

However, this weeks selections prove ithat Damien is now officially a lame duck.

Your burden of proof is lower than WADA!

Pitty you don't work for ASADA. Druggo's would have received the death penalty!

When Balmey came and there were new assistants there were some of us who signalled that this was good news and things may change. Some who rubbished that idea are now cheerleading the idea that all this is happening despite Dimma

Here's a novel idea for you. A Coach realises he isn't being successful as he is and things need to change. The club he works for enabled that change by surrounding him with good people. The Coach embraces that change.

That couldn't be happening could it? Of course not because that would fly in the face of the picture so many have painted of our Coach as intransigent and stubborn.

If you look back in these pages I have said 6 months ago I would have preferred we change the coach. It's way too early to know if these changes will allow him to survive but I would be staggered if these things are happening against Dimma's wishes.

Why second guess why the game plan seems to have changed and label the coach a lame duck? Just embrace the changes and enjoy the whatever ride it takes us. It could well be that it will not succeed but I am cheerleading that we are doing something to change.

Crusty old apologist?

Your logic is as sound as your burden of proof.

You assume so much!

You dribble on for 4 years, about Hardwick, anyone pulls you up on your inane ranting and automatically you assume they are standing up for Hardwick. Most of us are just pointing out the haters have extreme views that if you apply any sane thought too, you could see that they have no foundations except in your own mind!

Goes to show - why, why, why persist with a lame duck coach. Beggars belief.

I've just picked one line because the post so ridiculous.

The opposing argument is that Dimma wasn't a lame duck coach, therefore you would stick with him.

And it would 'beggar belief' if that was the overwhelming belief. It wasn't, it was view held by a significant proportion, maybe even a small minority (I don't think so but maybe). And even then, you could break it down into rabid 'Dimma must go no matter what' people like you, and those who have serious doubts, and everything in between. Now you may yet turn out to be right, don't get me wrong its only 1 win over a bum side regardless of playing style changes, but fair dinkum, you're obsessed, off your head.

Alas this post is full of softness Sin.
6 months ago?? You would have preferred we changed the coach.
Isn't that just a little not late?

Thats one possible scenario, I think it may also be possible that we are going down a similar path to the Roo's handball to Goodwin, roos lays a shepherd in his final year.

Not that I'd call it fact or proof, but as a non astute, old apologist cheerleader, it was something that passed through my POM PoMs

Meanwhile...

Seemed coherent at the time, I think there's a word missing.

In any case, you're playing devils advocate, I get it.

Tedious in light of your abandonment of Hardwick last year, yes?

1. What was the missing word? Must have been a doozy
2. Am I?
3. Tedious? Maybe so, but I wish Dimma and his assistants nothing but great success this year. Are you barracking for Collingwood this week?

The ins and outs for this week are so unHardwick like it must be obvious to all.
Those crusted on apologists who have been making excuses for Hardwick year upon year must feeling their bones beginning to rattle.

Geez, the influence of Balme and the new assistants can't help to hit you right between the eyes.
Where's Mappa & Co?

I must have missed something. So whose the Head Coach of RFC now?

You can't even decipher your own posts! Did you try reading it back to yourself?
I'm not surprised though.

Doesn't it isn't likely or probable as you well know

Your grammar and punctuation have been deteriorating badly of late. At least this post makes more sense than some of your grammatically correct posts.

Good to see I hit the spot earlier. Carry on Yinners. Must have a sweater to de-lint? Winter is coming :hihi

Mixed emotions. Love to beat them, but can still see the manacles that Hardwick provides. Just want to see the team in full flight.

And yes, you do play devils advocate. And boy is it tedious :hihi

Little wonder I tend to skim over your posts. More of your actual opinion and I might have a read.

Look at all these poor souls creeping from the sludge. How entertaining ;D

Selection is sharp, team looks primed. Reckon we'll roll Collingwood tonight.

Might just be delaying the inevitable, but with Treloar I just have a new reason to dislike the maggies. Can't stand him.

Nah. It's you who seems overly affected by it.

As usual your position is soft as butter, Snake. And you claim to be "cynical" :hihi

You don't think a head coach with the turning circle of the QE2 to is a bad thing in modern footy?

It took Balme and a new set of assistants to help Dimma see the light. That's assuming he has seen the light.

That's very high maintenance for an expensive, critical position.

A coach already left behind by football trends.

Hardwick should be leading the charge and not have to be "managed" like this.
