Please, you had hung and quatered him... Just a couple of days ago you were still banging on if we went out in straight he would go and a board challenge..

People can change opinions but after pages and pages (in every bloody thread) of knifing you need to cope it on the chin for pages and pages id think!

Apologies TT but I am not capable of processing negative concepts after last night ;D

Hardwick has learned, evolved. He said it himself.

Dimma in full proud dad mode.

As much it is Hardwick. Carcella and Leppa have transformed us.
Having a team all on the same page regardless of talent always seem to succeed

Spot on. The bond on how they support each other, want to play for each other is fantastic.
I felt it has been lacking at the club for ages.
In the past, experienced figjam group vs new kids. Now even the young kids, irrespective of experience absorbed in 1 group. No divisions. All have their specific role to do on the field. A cog within a machine

On Dusty's resigning on the footy show, 30 players were at Cotchin's place to watch it. Fantastic stuff. Sign of the bond this group have

It wont be just one thing that has turned it around. Combination of things within the footy dept.
Add Neil to that too with experience, wisdom & knowledge seeing the positive side of things. Encouragement & all that.
Cotchin's leadership style change too.

Well I so glad and what a way to smack the Cats last night and make a big statement. Luv'd it

Very true Al. This has been building for a while. A lot of us have been saying for a long time that it's not the coach alone - it's the coach, his team of coaches around him and the team of players around them.

Football success is alchemy - it's technique, structure, passion, culture and camaraderie. I'm just so pleased for the whole group - Dimma included.

Happy to let him enjoy the win and spin the past however he wants so he thinks people think he was right all along. Even if he was "100% certain we should trade Dusty + Jack at the end of this year" only two months ago.

One big tiger family on the same pathway of hope to a 2017 premiership right now.

Hardwick was terrible for 4 years, and deserved the pressure he had on him.

We all judge on what we have available too us, clearly we didn't realize how bad the assistants were going until we see the difference with the new ones.

Hardwick also realized he needs to be flexible and not so stubborn.

Neil Balme would also have a lot to do with the improvement.

Hardwick is lucky to have his job, It is great to see he has taken the second chance with 2 hands and has made some major changes, still needs to be more open to game day changes, example Rance on Taylor 4 weeks ago, He has however become better at making changes after a loss, something he struggled with over 3 consecutive finals losses.

If anyone says I told you so and I knew he was a possible premiereship coach based on his performance over the last 6 seasons, I call BULLDUST.

That game and that last quarter blew away hundreds of words of negativity this week about "straight sets and out" and potential board challenges in the most magnificent way.

He's a good coach. Always has been IMO.

And now he has the best list he's ever had we are seeing the results.

Compare last nights 22 to that which took on North in 2015 where we also won 15 games.

This side is heaps better. Heaps.

No he wasn't terrible for 4 years. He took us to 15, 12 and 15 wins in 2013-15.

If he was terrible, then this list must not only have been top 4, but one of the best of all time to still win so many games despite his shitfulness. And it wasn't. As I said look at last nights side compared to the side that lost to North in 2015. Massive difference.

Why is he in jail?? :hihi

Hehe.. yes, this was when the boys came in to sing the song. Dimma quietly standing in the background behind the netting, enjoying the moment. Proud dad indeed.

Would Jack look better with a haircut like Dusty?! :)

Been saying for years it's much more than just the coach, it's always about all of the club getting most things right together.
Board and management. Tick
Recruiting, both trade and draft. Tick
Coaching panel, head coach and assistants, Dimmaleppaflycella. Tick
Playing group, Elite, second tier n upcoming youngsters. Tick

Kabooom!

Didn't think we were quite up to the mark in several areas just yet. Looking very much like it might have been me that was off the mark a tad. Only one monkey left to destroy this year n it looks like it's very doable. Magnificent job by all concerned and last night was *smile* unbelievable, club is very much in the window over the next few years.

Ninety five thousand plus crowd n it looked like at least eighty thousand stuck around for the singing n dancing. Moggies fans over indulged soft bloated n apathetic phhhhhhhhhhht. Massively proud of the Tigers effort this year, juuuust a couple more to go n we can all celebrate in style.

TM well written and said.

It's the sum of all parts

The coach us only as good as the people who surround him.

They stuck with Danien cause the players love him & he loves them.
He needed to be challenged and new ideas sought .

How much Balme, Blake & Leppa have had only ' the four walls would know'.

For now rapt and pleased for Damien .

Tick 1. His first finals win and monkey off his back. Been ganging around that monkey !
Tick 2 to win into a GF cause that is achievable in my eyes. Anything less at the G would be a massive letdown. It's achievable.

Yes TM. Really, really proud of our club.

Held firm at a crucial point in the off season when snipers from outside and in were having pot shots from left, right and centre.

Great leadership and culture from Peggy, Brendon, Balmey, Dimma, Trent and the rest of the team.

Thank you but the real work has only just started.

Time for a flag Tiges.....

My first post tonight has to go to Dimma.

I was wrong. He is the best man for the job.

Well done coach. Well done.

Gold. I've doubted him at times myself, difference is though I could see why the club backed him, and once they backed him, I backed him. Its called support. Criticism and doubt is one thing, total relentless dogmatic condemnation is another. Or as an old mate of mine used to say, there's a difference between scratching your arse and ripping it to shreds.

He's met the consensus pass mark for this season anyway: part A was make the 8, exceeded that by making top 4. Part B, and the big one, win a final. Big tick baby! Now to exceed part B as well and win 3!

But we have to put all that aside. I'm very footy superstitious, we have to keep the weirdest, dumbest thread on PRE rolling.

It was a meaningless win, anyone who says different is just wallowing in mediocrity. Peggy is third rate 'cos we're broke, Benny is out of his depth, Dimma is Leppacella's Gerry Gee etc etc. ;D
