When will Bernie go !!

Do you think the Crows supporters were asking for the coach to be sacked after they were smashed by the Roos or the GWS supporters after they were beaten by the Blooz? Get a grip people.

It's a good point. Most teams have been smashed at some point this season, it's how they respond that makes the difference

Im done with Hardwick unless this game sends shockwaves through the club we are fuuuuuck ;D

I didn't ask for him to be sacked. I asked what the hell that was? I'd ask it to him personally if I could.
Team didn't play for him tonight. Entirely dishonest performance.

Listening to his presser, it seemed he didn't really care we were shown up all around the ground and spent too long praising the Saints and the usual clichés rather than saying what we want him to say

I must be one of the very few who couldn't give a rats toss bag what gets said in any of the pressers , people simply hear what they want to hear in them, the only thing I give a rats about is the 2 an a bit hours previous to the presser, that's where the real actions are done.

Completely agree.
Those pressers are nothing but an obligation and I'm sure given the choice none of the coaches would go through with them.
They are an exercise in giving away as little as possible to your opposition while at the same time satisfying the fans who think they mean something.

I'm not a Hardwick fan. I hope he's gone at year's end, but for what it's worth I thought he handled the presser well.
If only he'd done half as well during the game.

The value of Hardwicks post-match reviews is zero. He performs in them as he does in the coaches box – the same responses week in and week out to different games played in front of his nose has become his norm and it appears perfectly acceptable from the president down to the head of the Football Department.

He remains stagnant, predictable and devoid of such basic emotions as anger, disappointment, even frustration. The game today was a disgrace laying bare all the short-comings of a side, often discussed on this site, that in its current form, in an ordinary year, will not get anywhere near a premiership.

There is no easy fix but if Hardwick and the major players in the recruiting department are still in place at the RFC at the end of the 2017 season, then its obvious the real problems lay with those in charge of the administration of the club. Making changes at that level has proven impossible over the last ten years, exposing the real problems at the Tigers.

That's basically it every *smile* day he's coach

Dimma's return of the drones theory now 0 for 3.

Morris embarrassing loss to Adelaide.

Batchelor embarrassing loss to Freo.

Hunt embarrassing loss to saints.

Look for Dimma to double down on hammer for the fourpeat.

Yes Tooheys, many on here seem content to forget that our window began in 2013.

We have a coach who pulled the wrong rein in 2014, 15 and 16, stubbornly refusing to see things weren't going to work his way.

Instead of being finals wannabes heading into 2017, we could've at least had a PF or two under the belt. And now he's lapping up the adulation like he's some kind of seer.

September.

After eight years you wanna be biting deep. The first step is top four.

Looking at the run home, no reason why we can't win six to give us fifteen. No excuses. Entering September without a double chance would be a failure in itself.

Let's try and win 5 from here, but I think that may be a bridge too far

Just like the tom Haley game, and numerous others....get ready for Benny and the clowns to extend hardwick contract, meanwhile the aunts have bottomed out and are flying whilst we slop around in mediocrity

The difference is that everyone knew that was a once off. This loss has been on the cards for weeks. Someone eventually was gonna take advantage of our lack if height. The crazy thing is that it took this long (although it was a pretty big factor in the Sydney loss)

They won't coz its a boys club. And besides, sacking these guys will be an admission of mistakes and should fall on their swords as well (but won't). The probability of Dimma getting an extension is higher than the probability of him getting the sack.

I don't think we can pin last night's abject performance on Dimma. That was a classic failure to turn up, pure and simple.

Having said that, he hasn't been able to solve our perennial problem of going to water just when there's everything to gain.

Bring last night's collective attitude to September and we will be out in the EF once again.

The first failure will be missing a top four berth. A double chance should now be an expectation.

Dimma may or may not have been lapping up all the hype but one thing is certain - in the eyes of the fans, he will be defined by finals success this year, as he should be.

We seem to have a naive, easily excited administration so I'm certainly hoping that complacency has been well and truly smashed.

OK, so it seems the regular drear-seers have gone to ground.

either that, or they've had football lypo-suction and gone all positivo and constructive.

I'll take one for the team this week.

weve lost it at selection, hardwick is the worst coach ever to be in the Top 4 at the business end of a season, and youlle all experience an epiphany when

Saints win by 8 goals. Go Saints.

Gee you undersold the Sainters there.

4 wins from last 10 matches.

That stat in itself is irrelevant. We are a middle ranked side, most weeks the 4th youngest in the league that has been competitive in all games bar 2 and the winning/losing streaks are dictated somewhat by the draw we have had.

The problem is those 2 were as uncompetitive as you can get. Last night in particular the players played as if they didn't care...from the leaders giving away stupid 50 metre penalties from the start, right down to the kids. A collective non effort. it resembled the performance against the Swans in the last game last year when the season was over and everyone had enough. Except last night there was a lot on the line. Completely unacceptable from everyone involved.
