Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

We tried to be cute by elevating Griffiths and Conca in an EF.
Best to stay with what's tried and tested.

The only thing I'd say about this is that it is a different set of circumstances imho. Its not like Bolton is coming in cold like Griffiths and Conca were.

We just beat Geelong through sheer pressure.

About to play a team known to wilt under pressure.

We've kicked plenty of goals over the past month.

FFS lads if it ain't broke don't fix it ;D

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. He hasn't missed a game all year and we're winning, and winning well. If he was going to be dropped it would have been 3-4 weeks ago. Don't change it now

Bolton doesn't have the repeat efforts of Castagna.

Key will be restricting wilson williams shaw deledio etc running out from defence and delivering unopposed, not Bolton kicking a freakish goal or 2. Bolton will be a gun but not ready physically.

If he hasn't got the tank for a full game... leave him out.
We are all about locking it in our forward zone.
On the other hand if we want him to light up the scoreboard... get a break and then strangle them.

Maybe it's going to rain all night....

I love Shai and he will be in the side from Round 1 next year if he has a solid pre-season, but I can't see him knocking out George just yet.
Agree. He'll take George's spot next year but reckon Cantstandya deserves to keep his spot... just.

He's a lucky boy. Will need to have a good one Saturday or he may end up being the next "Derek Kickett"

If he can get 3 shots on goal (all snaps I home). 6 kicks 4 HB, 5 tackles PLUS what ever the other pressure acts are (and register well in those). Hes done his job and IF we win keeps spot for the GF.

Just needs to keep Wilson (or Williams, I get them mixed up) quiet and he's done his job. Has an important role for us to win. The eagles paid no respect or couldn't shut down their half backs and paid the price. If George gets zero possessions but restricts easy ball out of gws backline then he's done his job.

I can see it now, the Giants have looked at his last 5 weeks and won't have put any time into him, George will bob up with a match winning performance.

Very lucky as others have stated. But he must be doing some role the coaching staff are happy with. Has had games this year if he kicked straight could have had 3 or 4. Hopefully tomorrow night is one of them

I think we overlook the fact that George competes in the air against bigger bodies.
He makes a contest of it and often brings the ball to the ground.

if hes snapping I'll be happy.. same almost apples to Dustin, Trent and Jack 30m out slight angle, they all get the "yips". Fluky wind I suspect tomorrow so just hope its not a they score all theirs and we miss all our type of day.
