Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

George is gonna make me throw the remote through my tv screen one of these days.

Not sure what I think of him yet , his best is great , and his worst woeful

Such a mixed bag , but I can remember rance being a bit like that ,

Best to wait and see in my opinion

He has too many good features not to be a star, and his room for improvement is still massive.

george will be a bona fide gun

More worried about you saying he was already our best forward.

The way he picks up the ball off the ground at pace is as good as it gets for an AFL player.
If he can reduce his brain fades, he ends up with another 15 goals a year.

Horrendous one minute, brilliant the next , sloppy, fumbley, silk, tough, disciplined, wasteful , quick, panicky he does it all Georgie...... most important thing I think his a major cog in a forward structure that's not traditional and lacks size, however it's worked most of the season, hopefully it continues too.

"Chestnuts" certainly has it all.
The good, the bad, the ugly and dare I say, the sublime.

16 disposals, 11 effective, 2 tackles, 3 goals, some woeful misses. At least he's getting more of tha ball and not going missing as much.
You get to applaud and pull your hair out in despair in a single passage of play. ;D

nickname should be Yo-Yo. redeemed himself - couple of beautiful goals after some true duds

Never a dull moment when Georgie gets near the pill, little bugger's gunna give me a cark it attack one of these days. Hopefully he settles into a system n routine as he matures a bit, but I reckon it wouldn't hurt him to sit down n have a beer with Lindsay Thomas at seasons end n just pick his brain a bit on how he managed to solve his goal kicking issues a few years back. Went from being an absolute hack set shot to a dead eye with a proper routine.

So frustrating. Yet still kicked 3.

23.18 (56%) but He really should be tracking at around at least 30 goals so far this year. He's missing very gettable shots not shots from 50 on the boundary.

As you said, severe case of the yips.

If they were numbers for just set shots he must be tracking at way under 50%
