Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

The basic skill error of the missed handball to Lambo could have been very costly, as always busted his balls and competed, I think we have better options now.

Yep. I don't like saying it, but he realistically plays like a liability to us.

Thought we might be destined for an upset when - think it was in 2nd qtr - Georgie delivered an A Grade handball to a running Prestia whose long snap went straight through.
Thought I was dreaming for a few seconds.

Led our goal assists with 3 and tackles with 6. Stays.

2 kicks 9 handballs 3 clangers at 54% efficiency 85% game time.
3 goal assists is good, but how many momentum killers did he have we were going forward? More than 3, closer to half a dozen at least.
6 tackles is reward for effort. I doubt anyone says he doesn't put the effort in. It's more a case that he's often 2nd to the ball or what he does with it when he gets it. Momentum killer with putrid skills. Apart from when he does the unbelievable which is rare, as rare as when he can carry out the basics. My opinion of course.

Lucky he wasn't pinged for throwing the ball in that pass to Dash Kam kicking that leg break goal.

Worst disposer at the club. Last week he missed a sitter of a goal, today he misses a handball to a guy he's facing who's 2 metres away. Seriously, his disposal won't improve, time to move on.

He cant handball
He cant kick
He cant take a mark
How is he always in the team?

P.s that handball that missed his teammate was the last straw

It’s not that hard to learn to handball. Repetitive drills, little chance of causing overuse injuries. Just teach the bloke how to handball. One of the simplest skills in the game.

Has given us good service over the last two seasons and he always has a crack ... unfortunately for him Bolton and Baker are 10x the footballer he is. We need class and good skills to go a step further this year.

Both Bolton and Baker were great. The pure forward pressure game plan is over. Bolton and Baker showed that being damaging with your ball use is far more valuable then pure defensive skills. There has to be a minimal level of disposal skill to get a game.

This. So this.
