Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

Apart from his two goals and the point he kicked all of his disposals resulted in the opposition gaining possession.
His skills are poor .

He is the shortest Centre Half Forward in history.

The way he flies for marks and continually brings the ball down to ground level is amazing.
Did it again last night.

He must be a nightmare to play on.
Sure he doesn't get a lot of it but he helps the side in other ways with his Captain Chaos leaping and chasing antics.

He's not a CHF, Caddy plays that role. Castagna had a good defensive game and should keep his spot, 7 tackles was impressive.

And did some constructive stuff with the ball last night too.
Played a good game when he really needed to play a good game for the team and himself.

His pressure was huge. I love this guy. He lacks some polish but his effort is unsurpassed.

He's played most year as an aerial disruptor but i didn't see that all night. Lynch is going to make that role redundant too. George most likely loses his spot but Caddy's going to have to get off the leash as a third forward because that forward line won't be a pressure tsunami.

just doesn't have enough strings in his bow. I gave up questioning his value as I was in a smaller minority than the Liberal democrats . But a team effort like tonight exposes his flaws. Must be upgraded.

I had him a pass for the night given that the ball spent most of the night ricocheting between the fingertips and toes of unguarded Pie midfield palladins.

We were beaten morally by eight to ten goals. George did a few things against the odds but didn't do enough. WE had quite a few who had worse nights if that is imaginable. And the worse were the ones who were supposed to kick the ball towards George.

George wasn't isolated up forward. He had to win the ball from out of position. Or halve from nowhere. With no leather coming in. Not to say he didn't get a hiding but hey, when Martin, Prestia, Edwards, Lambert can't remember what a football looks like you don't hang a forward.

Among our many weaknesses on the night one was a lack of defensive pressure. Effective pressure. We were slow. George could get there sometimes.

we need more speed, not less. but i hear what you are saying. someone who can get the footy

Was well below par no doubt. I'm not going to blame him to much as the forward 50 entries were aimed at Jack.

I was looking for him to lay a glove on Mayne. He was able to do what he liked.

Had a very poor year seems he has been gifted games as his input has been vey poor. Don't want to see him as a forward again
Would like to see George get a chance in the midfield to see what he has to offer

The entire forward line will be reshaped with Lynch coming in and all spots will be up for grabs.
