Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

First quarter was A grade, the remaining 3 very quiet. Top goal though. Pressure still there if Butler hits peak fitness.

Butlers biggest issue will be his loss of conditioning after being unable to run for so many weeks.

But i do agree there is another unlucky player in there somewhere.

What happens with Reece Conca will decide the make up of the side.

Butler is up against it to make the side for the QF i reckon.

Lambo has to come back also and will likely return before Butler, we have missed Butlers spark in the 50 it must be said.

When Butler comes in it will possibly come down to George or Higgo.

Perfect opportunity to impress against the Dogs for both of them.

I'm still wary re Butler. Time is running out, despite what Dimma said in the post game. He simply hasn't played enough footy.

If Butler remains our only injury/conditioning worry then start booking your Grand Final breakfast. I won't tempt the football gods with a recommendation for your evening meal.

Only 19 pressure acts for Castagna. Been very hot and cold of late in this area. Only 1 tackle as well. If the argument is he doesn't need to kick goals because of his defensive ability then he needs to do a lot better in those areas.

Looked proppy & listed with a quad. I'm not his number 1 fan but I'd like all players on deck. Hopefully not too serious.
If it is more than a one weeker, then he's got the extra week before finals and that could be Lloyd's chance to stay in the side.

Forget the numbers, he looked sharper, it felt like he was in the game. Couldn't say that about past weeks.

He stays for me. Key ingredient of what we do.

Disagree, only played good first Q. Is clearly struggling with sore quad. Even early he kept flying for marks against Jack. OK, Caddy did too but the difference was he took them brilliantly, was in better position than JR and goaled twice from those CMs. JC just got in the way.

He must be rested for the fortnight's break to recover as fully as possible for F1. If that means Lloyd or Baker gets to play the Dogs game, not a problem. Baker's game was virtually as good anyway. Lloyd's game was better.

Game day thread is such garbage at times. George got bagged aplenty yet he had a very good game. Get stuffed all those moron critics, he’s a lock for finals.

Agreed. Played well.

Love to think he would dominate a game but guess he's a role player
Couple of goals and plenty of contests - yeah he's OK for QF

Didn't see the game but statistically he played one of his best games for the year. Looks like Seymour won't make the cut.
